Zorc officially rejected a move for him this summer. https://www.bild.de/sport/fussball/fussball/bvb-jadon-sancho-machtwort-manager-michael-zorc-verkuendet-wechselverbot-72316452.bild.html

Clubs always say that but they will sell once their demands are met. If United suddenly decide to pay up the 120 million tomorrow without doing so in installments, do you think they will say no? Er wird nächste Saison bei uns spielen. Die Entscheidung ist definitiv. Ich glaube, das beantwortet alle Fragen.“ which translates to: "Sancho is in our plans. He will play for us next season. The decision is defnite. I believe, this answers all questions". He would fkin embarrass himself if Sancho still left. They can easily get a better price next season. Edit: Nevermind, was posted before. but I maintain, why should Dortmund let him leave now when they hold all the cards. killer1257

What is clear though is that Dortmund are under no pressure to sell, especially if they did extend Sancho's contract to 2023. Either United pay what Dortmund want or Sancho forces the move a la Dembele. If neither of those happen, then great!
Pizy 18,904
Zorc has apparently said this about several big players in the past and all were sold once the buying club eventually paid up. Dembele, Aubameyang, Mkitaryan... They get a 120m offer, he's gone.

Jype 6,398
Quotes from Zorc are pretty much identical to Ousmane Dembele situation three years ago. Dembele ended up acting like a total cunt and got his move in the end, but not before Dortmund milking Barcelona for every last cent (€105+40M). But with the news of contract till 2023 they have no need to sell this year. So in theory they could still say no even if United came up with a €120M offer now, as long as Sancho himself is happy to stay for one more season and then leave on good terms next year. However if he's desperate to go to United they'll end up selling. Either way, if the Dembele saga taught us anything it's that Dortmund won't accept a lower fee just because the buying club can't afford full price. So for United it's €120M of gtfo. NikkiCFC 8,319
I believe Dortmund director of course. Why would he lie about something like that? Romano knows better lol? No one knew that Kenedy still has 2 years left on contract, we though he is leaving for free this summer.

COVID-19 cock-blocks Victimpool from cashing in on Salah this summer and taking (not even all of the cash they would get in a normal market from RM or PSG (who would sell Neymar then to Barca) that dosh and buying Sancho. All three of the dippers front 3 really start to lose value after thsi season, as they age out. If they do not sell 1 or two in 2021, they REALLY will lose buying power from the monies gained via sale. They will all be 30yo plus after (or during in Frmino and Manes's cases) the 2021-22 season. That is their catch-22 I have been talking about for months. Having your top players all born within a few months of each other presents serious challenges once they hit the 29yo and up cohort (unless you are RM, or Barca, or Shitty, or PSG and probably Manure). The law of diminishing returns kicks in from a fiscal standpoint. Atomiswave

Pulisicismydaddy 91
I don't see why they would let him leave if his contract is until 2023, they have a very strong unit, they can fight for the title.

They just aren't good enough to do it over 34 games. Bayern gave them a head start in the last 2-3 seasons and they bottled it each time. Pizy 18,904
Not gonna lie, United fucking up and failing to get Sancho would be almost as satisfying as us securing Havertz. Them scrambling to find a backup option who won't be nearly as good would be hilarious. But I won't laugh too hard about it until Havertz is done. They will probably get Grealish or Chiesa if Sancho is off.
