I honestly think we should just try and go for both of Nice's wingbacks (Dalbert WBL and Pereira WBR). I only saw them in some of the bigger Ligue 1 games, but they seem capable and are also of a different profile than Moses & Alonso. My biggest concern is that time is starting to be a bit of an issue.

This guy was great for Germany at the U21 Euros, at £3M it's pretty much a no-brainer. Capable of playing both flanks to provide a squad option for both wing-back positions, what's not to like?

I've heard he's really highly rated in Germany and only going for peanuts because of his contractual situation. If he cost £30M I'm betting people would be more excited about the prospect of signing him but at £3M it's like "meh, he's cheap so he must be shit".

Think he'll end up at Spurs tho, they will offer him more game time after selling Walker.

Isn´t Trippier or whatever that guy's name is tipped for the starting spot after Walker left?

Yeah sure, but Kieran Trippier is not an established first teamer as of now so if they get Toljan he will have a real chance to make the position his own. The fact they're after another highly rated young RB kinda tells me Pochettino doesn't trust Trippier as much as their fans do.

What makes you think that?

No, it won't.

It has been very quiet market and our season starts next week. It is difficult to get a really good player at the end of the period.

I think adding one really good wb is enough. I don't like too many transfer in one go unless we were really bad the previous season, it will disrupt team chemistry.

Didn't we get Luiz like, right at the end of last season?

That was an exception. It is rare for a big club to let their player go during deadline day but maybe they don't consider luiz a crucial part of their plan plus it was a good business for psg. 30 m for 29 years old cb.
