Read what you just said "And then more chance to failed at CL group stage."

I replied to @Oscar post earlier, suggesting we need to sign more HG. Yes apart from Sterling and Kane, I would not pick anyone else from England NT. One has gone, another one is staying. The rest HG players available will not be a starter for us at the moment, in other words will not improve us massively.

My point is we're not in HG quota crisis like City, therefore we don't need to make a HG status our first priority on making any signing right now. So we could easily just afford to buy another world class players available from anywhere if we want.

8M would be a good deal if he was actually going to play often, but he won't.

Another Lescot, and what was that midfielder from Everton who looked promising that joined as a young lad to City - Rodwell? His career has died on its arse...

To be honest. I genuinely couldn't care less if we signed Witsel or not. He isn't going to be the difference between us & the Champions League. Nice option to have but not a necessity.

Pedro & Stones would be enough for me.

I think CM is a bit of a grey area and needs to be sorted if we want to make that push in Europe.

Matic and Cesc partnership has been brilliant for flat track bullying, but when it's been used in big games, the latter's not so great defensive game is clear as day, Spurs away, first half hour at Anfield, Mikel and Matic combo is far too defensive and Rami with anyone and his very low football brain always handicaps us against the truly top opposition.

We ideally need a player who can tuck in between Cesc and Matic in the big game's, as good as Luis deal was and was the right time to let Lamps go, we did lose a bit the big game power we had in 13-14.

City do get a bit off unfair stick when it comes to "ruining" home grown players, Rodwell was injury phrone and Sinclair was never good enough.

Zaha went from being an up and coming star and is now a Palace squad player yet no word on how United ruined him.

If I were a football player, and had some sports ambition, really, really, City was one of my last options. Obviously, If you are a average player and have the chance to go there to win some cash, ok, go there, but being a TOP player, for me, is a very wrong option. City reminds me that sentence that says "Some people are so poor, all they have is money". No serious project, only spend, and spend money, and survive all the time for individual actions.

The biggest example of what I said, is Aguero, for me, one of the best players of this generation, and some years ago I thought that he would be the alternative to Messi and Cristiano, but he went to City and his career totally stagnated. Never has competed for nothing in Europe, in league they are totally irregular and never has had a dominant team. For me, he throw his option to be a supercrack and a big option to win Balon d' Or coming to City.
