Add Gundogan and some good defenders and United will be challenging heavily.Their defense is still top 4 in the league in goals conceded but they've gone 3 games without scoring. They need attackers more than defenders. People have started using Mourinho's blueprint to defend and counter against uniteds possession. Pacquiao 1,834
Depay isnt the type of signing that is going to get United any closer to us, neither is Gundogan, so i am not worried about them Laugh1ngMan and ILoveLamp
DYC. 7,542
Great move for Memphis, very happy for him. Fantastic talent. I hope they're not expecting him to perform miracles though. Hazard was at a further stage in his development when he joined Chelsea, and has more natural ability. Depay could become a star in 2-3 years.Hope the board's not sleeping. I do not expect Utd to fully challenge for the title next season, but Chels can't afford to rest on their laurels either. Special Juan 28,871
Quick get the fans on side with an early signing, it may make them forget about the shit we have served up this season. zolayes, Muzchap and The Mak
Pizy 19,381
They're trying to "pull a Chelsea" by getting their business done super early. Hopefully this signing takes them out of the running for Bale if it was even possible to sign him anyways.

Memphis is an elite talent. He'll be one of the best in the PL in a season or 2. nyikolajevics

He has an amazing right foot, absolute rocket. A goal scoring wing forward. He'll do really well at United IMO.

Laugh1ngMan 393
He is a 21 year old young prospect, hardly the kind of player to go and win you the league imo, however good he might be. Maybe in 2 or 3 seasons he will have developped enough to be a big asset. Not worried about this at all.And definetly not the kind of player we should be aiming at. We got enough young talent already. We should only go for world class players and otherwise give our youngsters a chance
Pacquiao 1,834
How much of Memphis have you watched if I may ask?A lot, skysports always show eredivisie games, and PSV have been great to watch this season, but i dont see Depay as a special talent, he looks very predictable, he will get exposed in the PL, with less space and against better teamsBertrand Traore is 2 years younger and is having just as good a season as Depay did last year and Troare plays for a weaker team. Popular Post! Pizy 19,381 Posted May 7, 2015 Popular Post! Share Posted May 7, 2015 I just hope the way we worked the transfer window last summer is the new norm rather than an exception. We should be looking to get our top targets in ASAP so that they have a whole summer to work with the team and get settled. We demonstrated this season how important and vital a strong start to the campaign is. We can't afford to chase ghosts all summer only for the players to sign elsewhere or end up being unobtainable. I'll say this again like I did in another thread, I hope our board and José are thinking along the same lines as we the fans are. We need a couple of top class signings and not just a few players to fill out the squad. We can't just think that because we walked the league this year with these players that we will next season with just a bit more squad depth. All of our rivals will be spending unprecedented amounts of cash in all likelihood on world class players. We have to target players who will take our FIRST XI to the next level. We need to do the same to remain ahead and create something special. A dynasty like José said he wanted.
