Anyone else worried?

Both Lampard and Mikel have talked to the media about not playing and how it frustrates them. I hope they dont influence the others too much or else we could see another Scolari incident whereby he loses the respect of players. :(

I share your worries - To an extent.

I think Lampard was severely misquoted, because he did say he understood why he was being left out. Typical Daily Fail reporting with him. I personally don't really mind that they're being left out, it's the fact we have no-one to replace them. If we did, and they made a difference, enabling us to win most games, no-one would flick an eyelid.

Mikel's been replaced with Romeu. Lampard hasn't.. Yet.

Lampard will get used to it, and Mikel will probably leave soon anyway. But I don't think the players have the same respect they had for Mourinho or Ancelotti for AVB. But the good thing is that he probably doesn't live in a fantasy where players automatically revere and follow him, so I'm not particularly worried that the players will outright disrespect him. He's got a lot to prove, though.

^ RIGHT THERE WITH YOU THOR!! I was so happy with the fact mikel was upset unfortunately he won't make any enemies with avb for he stated avb's philosophy "the club is winning so I am happy". But hopefully it grows with every passing game cause we need space to fill his role with a far superior dm!!

January's going to be very difficult for us if we fail to replace Malouda, Kalou, Anelka & Alex.

Considering how hard that is, in the Jan market, we're going to have to keep hold of Malouda & Kalou.. As much as it pains me to say.

Agreed. We'd be lucky to finish two "good" signings in Jan.
