Chelsea Opposition Scout Report: Newcastle United

 Share

Recommended Posts

Andre Villas-Boas said that December will be a crucial month for Chelsea. And we kick this crucial month off with a visit to the Sports Direct Arena to play against fourth place Newcastle.

The Magpies have boasted a solid defense this season but signs of frailty are starting show in recent games (be it against tough oppositions). Their 4-4-1-1 fell a bit short against Manchester United's 4-4-1-1 but they still came out with a point last week. Their attacks usually begins with a long punt from goalkeeper Tim Krul and they defend with two banks of four. Here's my scout report.

Cheers!
