A Triangle of Errors against Blackburn

Chelsea finally got a clean sheet against Blackburn (for only the second time in the league this season). But our defense looked far from solid. Sure, there were phases during the game in which we looked good defensively, but there were still some errors too. In this post, I looked particularly at the Blackburn's chance which ended with a broken nose for Petr Cech.

Good work, but at the time I also felt that JT shared the blame for the through ball as well since he played Holliet onside. But this chance aside, blackburn had very little opportunities in the game. I really thought our tactical defending showed some improvement in this match, and almost every chance Blackburn got was due to an individual error (more often than not from Alex). I do believe that we are moving in the right direction in perfecting our defense.
