HAHAHAHA! Incredible, but, I'm with the referee on this. He is playing until the moment he leaves the field for another joining, so, he deserved the card. If the rules says that can't strip shirt on the field (because of the sponsors, of course ), so there's nothing to do.

I've seen another red card like this, but, instead of stripping shirt, the player who should leave take a bit long so got the second yellow card. Fair too.

Referees need to use common sense - like when the referee didn't book Billy Sharp for celebrating a goal for his son that died last week by lifting his shirt. When Robben was given his 2nd yellow for jumping into the crowd at Sunderland .. Weren't we all pissed off at the stupidity?

I guess the ref did well because if they commit errors following the rule, you can imagine if you leave many and many things to their interpretation.

But, if one player strip his shirt even if it's not celebration will be punished because a shirt is necessary to play the match.

This is ridiculous, & as for players getting booked for lifting their shirt when celebrating that is one of the stupidest rules ever. I don't see the problem with it.

I feel sorry for him. I know it's in the rules, but rules are supposed to be modeled after a certain logic. There is nothing logical with the ref's call there.
