Well said mate..

I just feel sorry for the people of Libya, you can just tell what's coming their way can't be good.

Indeed, it's a false hope they've been given.

Just like Egypt where they celebrated after Mubarak was gone, only to realise, their own military became a dictatorship.

So for anyone at a loss today, let's sum up events.

  • UNESCO accepts Paletine's membership to it's program.
  • One of those to veto Palestine's membership? USA.
  • USA then cuts funding UNESCO because of it.

Today, we see America's Zion agenda exposed.

Ashamed to be American.

Not once have I been proud to American in my 18 years of life. Called me spoiled or ungrateful, but I can't accept blind patriotism. The way we carry out things in this world greatly angers and saddens me. Our pro-Israel, excuse me, ANTI-Palestine stance sickens me.

We have given Israel the most foreign aid overall...and the amount of money we give Israel is more than we give to the entire CONTINENT of Africa.

Obama has promised Israel $30,000,000,000 over the next decade. smfh.

Indeed.

America's position is totally hypocritical. They claim Palestine can only become a member of the UN through peace negotiations, yet they seem determined to deter this. The weapons link is no surprise to anyone & the most disturbing thing is, most those weapons are used against the Palestinian people.

They look embarrassing on the international stage at the moment. I'm very happy most nations are now accepting the Palestine claim for independence, especially the likes of France. I'm sure Obama's doing everything he can to keep the Palestine people repressed.

It's a sick country.

Step in the right direction, not shocked by any of the countries who voted no. Happy but surprised that Ireland were in favour considering the cronies we have in power.

That's good. Not surprised Britain abstained.. After all, they don't want to piss off big-brother.

I wouldnt be ashamed to be American KieranVogel -it's more a case of the need for ordianary Americans to openly challenge the Zionist lobby groups AIPAC and others, and to say we dont want our tax dollars to be syphoned out to Israel. Obama and every president since the 1950s has been in the pocket of the Zionists. Enough is Enough.

On Libya and Gaddafi -someone sent me this which is interesting

1. There is no electricity bill in... Libya; electricity is free

for all its citizens.

2. There is no interest on loans, banks in Libya are

state-owned and loans given

to all its citizens at 0% interest by law.

50,000 ) by the government

to buy their first apartment so to help start up the

family.

Libya. Before Gaddafi only 25%

of Libyans are literate. Today the figure is 83%.

6. Should Libyans want to take up farming career,

they would receive farming

land, a farming house, equipments, seeds and

livestock to kick- start their farms

– all for free.

7. If Libyans cannot find the education or medical

facilities they need in Libya,

the government funds them to go abroad for it –

not only free but they get US

$2, 300/mth accommodation and car allowance.

8. In Libyan, if a Libyan buys a car, the government

subsidized 50% of the price.

9. The price of petrol in Libya is $0. 14 per liter.

10. Libya has no external debt and its reserves

amount to $150 billion – now

11. If a Libyan is unable to get employment after

graduation the state would

pay the average salary of the profession as if he or

she is employed until

employment is found.

Exactly.

It's exactly like Malcolm said, "If you're not careful, the newspapers will have you hating the people who are being oppressed, and loving the people who are doing the oppressing."

There is no such thing as an american dream, the more you learn about it the more you realize that its more of a nightmare. America has the biggest class divide on planet earth, the market driven health care in america dictates who is good enough to receive health care and who is not. The funny thing is the american's always go on about our health care here in the UK and how much of a disaster it is when we spend less as a percentage of GDP on our health care then they do despite them having a bigger slice of the world economy per capita then what we do. You can be in the middle of a heart attack in america and the paramedic still wants to make sure you have the insurance before he tries to save your LIFE IN THE AMBULANCE.

No like I said a friend sent them. Be a bit stupid to make them up though.

I remember Gaddafi in the 80s had a bit of a boom on the oil reserves and gave everyone in the country £500.

The real reason Behind taking Gaddafi down was that he refused to trade oil for dollar instead he was he'll bent on trading oil for gold. This would obviously have a tremendous impact on dollar as the global currency.

US Did this when the world war broke out. They sat on the fence and supplied weapons for gold. Development of Europe post war was done in return for gold. participation in world war was in return for gold. The idea behind this was to make dollar the global currency. Big loans were then handed out in rebuilding of Europe in the form of dollars.

I work in healthcare insurance domain and i Agree the healthcare is bad out here but you are treated even if you do not have a health insurance only in this case you pay out of your own pocket. and that can hit your bank balance hard. I think the way it works is the govt takes care of the bill but you then have to pay the govt in installments or something.

I really like the UK healthcare. I ears that you guys don't have to pay a penny from your pocket when you are treated.

Our pro-Israel, excuse me, ANTI-Palestine stance sickens me.

Obama has promised Israel $30,000,000,000 over the next decade. smfh.

Do you know that UNESCO gets one fifth of it's funding from US? Now the state of Palestine was recently made a member of UNESCO by the member nations. US threatened to stop the funding to UNESCO.

Obama alone can't change the foreign policy of the nation that is been going on for years. More powerful than a president of any country is the head of the country's intelligence. If they feel the president is Doing any harm to their foreign interest they can take him down and you won't even know that it was them.

There are Two sides to a coin. This guy Must be a Gaddafi supporter.

But Gaddafi was on their agenda for a long long time I must say. And they just needed a spark which they got in the form of the revolution.

Amazing what the street vendor Mohamed Bouazid in Tunisia has done to the world. Talk about butterfly effect....

Syria yes. Iran no. They won't touch nations like Iran or north Korea

Let's see. Now that Euro-America have a their thirst for oil marginally filled, I'm sure they'll want more. And more Imperial colonies of course.

He was also interested in trading for Euros, which fucks old uncle sam off.

There were 30 000 Chinese in Libya building the infrastructure -roads, bridges, and the NATO bombing had the effect of them all evacuating, thus nullifying any future trade links between Libya and China
