Mikel is solid no doubt but he slows the game and there is no denying that. I was seeing his game today and he hangs on to the ball for far too long and then either passes it horizontally or back to the defense.

But when it comes to possession and breaking play, he is top notch.

Ramirez is my MOTM. What a peach of a player. He seems to have a nuclear reactor in his ass. He just runs and runs and now even scores.

Could have had 5 in two games. He STILL has to work on his finishing.He could have had a hattrick.

Meireless is good. Has a good passing range. Is quick and since he has come our play has improved alot.

Torres is back no doubt but he is overdoing it. Even that miss at OT had to do with over exhuberence and excitement. He needs to be calm.Thats all.

Anelka so far along with mata has been our player of the season. He surprisingly has started off very well but i am hoping his form doesnt take a dive in the winter like it does very often.

Ramires, like I said in the game's topic his high positionning and his pressing on the Swansea's midfield was a key of the win. Two goals, a huge activity and some clever deliveries.

I voted for Ashley Cole. I thought he was very good yesterday, he never stopped to fight, and was constantly making run on his left wing.

Both Ramires and Mikel also deserve to win the MOTM.

Had Mata finished the game, I think I would have voted for him lol, he is just crucial in our play.

It was between the obvious Ramires and Mikel for me, which is interesting considering they're supposed to be our 2 most "negative" players.

Finally opted for Ramires due scoring twice and having the correct timing to be in those threatening positions.

Meireles had also a very good game and Anelka's performance should help his case about retaining his starting spot.

I dunno how anyone but Ramires could be MOTM. Ash is a defending fullback and had no one to give him challenge, he didn't really create anything offensively either, at least not compared to Torres or Ray mears. Meireles was good but you'd expect such a performance, the same with Mikel, they both had strong games but nothing more than what they are paid to do really.

I am a bit worried for Ramires , though he was really a highlight . He took most of our shot, while he was in the midfield, should a midfielder shoot so often ? If our oppenent was not Swansea, I doubt Ramires would have score twice by taking the same number of shots
