Kieran. 6,317
I expect a narrow victory. The Black Cats aren't scrubs.

Blue Armour 4,467
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tA0fBtWjp_0Man...our crossing was so good in that match...almost all of them were pin-point....
jeannie 6
This is going to be a difficult match to win, though I do see us get the points. Mata and Sturridge (HAVE TO PLAY) will make the difference. Would be great to see Meireles play also.....while he's no Modric, he's a great midfielder, goal-scorer and as an assist! BlueLion. 21,491
Anyone thinking we're going to trounce them is either blinded by faith or simply naive.
manpe 10,861
I'll take a 1-0 win, thank you. Tbh I will be more glad if we keep a clean sheet than win 4-1... I want a solid error-free performance from defence for once. So yeah, winning and keeping 0 on our side > any other score.
BlueLion. 21,491
Agreed. A 1-0 or 2-0 win would do wonders for this team. For some reason, clean sheets do more for our confidence than big wins, I suppose because as a team we play and build from the defence. JackredandWhite 171
well done, obviously the better team won. We look like we've gone backwards since last season but.....I'd be worried with this "we'll score one more than you" tactic because we could easily have got one in injury time, even though it would have been undeserved. Manu or City would have been out of sight. Also, can anyone at the match today tell me who that fat bugger was who walked along the front of the stand to the family enclosure to rip down the Irish Tricolour? Deary me....

Deary me....As long as the team is wining I don't care. Mourinho's first 10 PL games at the club look like this: 1-0 win v Man Utd 1-0 win v Birmingham 2-0 win v Crystal Palace 2-1 win v Southampton 0-0 draw v Villa 0-0 draw v Spurs 1-0 win v Boro 1-0 win v Liverpool 0-1 defeat v Man City 4-0 win v Blackburn So give AVB some time. JackredandWhite 171
Terrible reply, loads of good lads on here but....Remember, you wernt always where you are now and I wonder how long you've supported Chelsea (actually go to the games?).I never expected to win (the wink?), but I've always had a bit of a soft spot for Chelsea going back to Osgood etc, so don't spoil it for me
