the wes 7,212
Leicester have given a trial to Chelsea defender Harry Worley as manager Ian Holloway looks to further strengthen his squad. Worley, 20, a product of the youth academy at Stamford Bridge, played for the Foxes reserve-team in Tuesday's 2-2 draw against Coventry. Holloway, who made his seventh new signing when he brought in Jamie Clapham from Wolves on a short-term contract last week, said: "The player has not been offered a new contract by Chelsea, so we are having a look at him." Worley is the second Chelsea youngster that Holloway has expressed an interest in after admitting earlier this week that he has enquired about a loan deal for Scott Sinclair, who he also signed on loan during his time as Plymouth boss
EskWeston 696
I would be very very suprised if the club were so willing to let him go just like that! Especially considering they have given older and less able players like Pettigrew, Grant and Younghusband more time to prove themselves.
Elliott 7
I do not see how Worley will ever get a chance at this club though! He's already 20, the age where players have already broke through into the first team.

He's already 20, the age where players have already broke through into the first team. He is actually still only 19. Defenders tend to break through later, mainly because they need to be allowed to grow a bit physically to be able to cope with the demands of Premier League football. The club have talked a lot recently about keeping players on longer because some players develop a lot later than others so they give them the extra time, i would be suprised to see Worley go now. Luke 60
yeah bit of a shame, would have thought a few of the younger players would get a look in towards the end of the season, but then lets face it we have a bit of dead wood in the first team squad such as ferreira, sheva, ben haim, would prefer the youngster to get a game personally
