Spike 12,049
It will also give him confidence knowing that Chelsea actually want him to play now rather than loan him out to another club.
English Freak 456
The Danish league isn't that great but it'll still be good for his confidence and development to return to his free scoring Anderlecht days. If he stays in England he won't get as many goals. It'll do him a lot of confidence to come back to Chelsea on the back of 20 goals rather than 10.I'd rather see Lukaku score 10 goals in a competitive league (like the EPL, Bundesliga).Scoring a bucket load of goals in a weak league isn't going to help Chelsea...we need Lukaku to develop his overall game against good defenders. If none of the EPL clubs want him, we should let Werder Bremen have him on-loan because they need a striker & they play decent football. Couldn't care less if he plays for Stoke or not. At least he will be tested in a much stronger league and playing against better players than the ones in Denmark.I must admit that my perception of FC Copenhagen is somewhat distorted by the presence of Dame N'Doye. What a man he is All I remember is he kept on diving and falling over dramatically when we played Copenhagen in Denmark last year.

He could even be a decent squad player for teams between 5 and 8. But the point is he's torn up Denmark, he could really move to a better league. Perhaps Germany. And yes, I try and relate everything on here back to Kalou. Italy's win today was actually a tribute to Kalou, little known fact. Leif 6,006
Does anyone remember me taking the piss and saying we should loan him to Vitesse? Silly me. I actually believe we should now!Vitesse have got Europa League football next season (Well done Kalas!), and I'm sure they'd play him often as they need someone physical up-front.If Vitesse did well, they'd play against the likes of Newcastle, Liverpool, Atletico Madrid etc.In the league, he'd face Ajax, Feyenoord, PSV and Twente. If they played in our league, all of them would be pushing for a top 6 place each season, I'm sure of it. (Well, maybe not Feyenoord.)After a loan spell there, he could have 1 more loan spell the following season in the Bundesliga (it's the closest thing to the Premier League outside of England),and then if we still don't consider him ready, a move to a Premier League club. You can't rush perfection. We want Lukaku to be a perfect striker though, right?Well, no need to rush then. I actually believe we should now!I don't know if Vitesse is a viable option, personally I doubt it, but I suppose it's possible, depending on if the other loanees were to renew their loans there like Kalas has/will do.Would still prefer him to stay in England. We Hate Scouse 10,326
Lukaku would rip the Eredivisie apart. I'd rather see him loaned to a better league though. German or an English club for me.

We know he can bully weak defenders, but we need to test him in the PL so he can learn to out-run and out-muscle the likes of Vidic. He won't be able to do that in Denmark. Nic! 301
Lukaku would never agree with Vitesse. It's like going back to Belgium, which he said he'd never do at this moment. Vitesse is no step up compared to Anderlecht, so if Anderlecht is out of the question, so is Vitesse (and probably Copenhagen).

westcountryblue 25
Agreed, I think a loan to another EPL team would be more beneficial for him. But really looking forward to seeing more of him.
