As long as Frank retires after leaving Chelsea then it is fine. I am glad he realises his limits, but I am even more glad that such a phenomenal footballer has done so much for this club. Chelsea's greatest ever player in my honest opinion. Maybe not on a footballing basis, but in terms of Frank the person; for his commitment and his attitude. I'll never forget that penalty against Liverpool; it was a moment that defined Lampard, defined the team and defined the club. He really is Mister Chelsea.

Couldn't been said better.

WTF is wrong with you?! And you're moderator???!!!

It's his sense of humour mate.

Lamps is a legend, I want to see him playing at the top level for as long as he can, I'd rather he spent more time on the bench so he can stay with the club longer. Hope that's the decision he makes rather than deciding that when he's not first team anymore it's time to retire.

Lampard's England career 'is over': Wilshere is now Capello's main man!

Frank Lampard's career as a first-choice England midfielder is finally over.

The 33-year-old Chelsea star, capped 86 times, will still be called into the squad for England's friendly against Holland on August 10.

Yet the Mail on Sunday understands that only injuries to Jack Wilshere or Scott Parker would allow Lampard into England's starting line-up again.

The English media is Wanking over Wilshere for quite some time now. They will adore him like they adored Gerrard for once in 4 season performances while McEchran, will keep performing in an out year after year and will be called Overrated.

Btw..Lampard's England career is over. He is passed his peak for Chelsea, England shouldnt be too different. I would rather have him retire and concentrate on Chelsea and prolong his club career
