Either they are good like United, or just a vein attempt of Greece to do good for one season and descend into obscurity like Pool and Spurs. Pool have spend, but meh, not enough to come close to City. Pool can continue fighting Europa League for all they want. And Spurs, they are just in dream land after that one CL attempt, which they got lucky by beating City to that spot. But that won't happen again. Kojo 4,676 Posted July 30, 2011 Share Posted July 30, 2011 I thought the defence was good, Terry gave a solid game, didn't get to see much of Alex unfortunately, Ivanovic for me was the best in the back 4, even Zhirkov gave a good game, Bosingwa had a decent game to he did struggle with Delfaunso a bit unfortunately but we all know he isn't the best defensivly. Lampard was poor in my opinion he gave the ball away to much and didn't do much with it, Mikel only made 2 silly mistakes and was great at dealing with the pressure as usual, he gave the ball away and took a shot for some stupid reason when he should of known he was miles offside. McEeachran brilliant football played, Malouda i was very happy with him, because most of all, he could cross, maybe Malouda isn't a lost cause it looks to me that he's found his form. Anelka well done to you, you really tried there which is something you don't do very often and you did well. And Torres and Drogba good game to, i was proud of the team to be honest, we were all over them, when Darren Bent came on we were a bit uneased at one point but then took it calm, for me the big problem was long balls, we seemed to struggle a lot with those long balls and a lot of time Alex couldn't keep up with Gabby, but then again it's his first game in pre season and he isn't our fastest defender.
