Unionjack 7,531
Its really good seeing Tibo sounding so enthusiastic happy and content right now. Ever since he joined us Ive always felt he was only here till summet else come along. He never looks happy to me or a part of the team. But he must be buzzun having a run of clean sheets and the platers around him all happy and on form too. Long may it last. With Conte he must have the feeling that there has changed something and that certain things that looked impossible become possible now. Like maybe winning the CL when everything goes our way. Thats kinda like what I was saying tho. He doesn't strike me as veing able to dig deep and go up a gear when the going gets bad. But when its all rosey in the garden he's fine. He wasn't happy when we brought him back from AM and it seems to me he's had a strop on ever since. And with the continual BS links back to Spain which I realize is prob BS, it doesn't fill alot of us with love and admiration for the lad. But I may be totally wrong as he very seldom smiles so it may just be his character. Why the long face?

He says Courtois was a quiet guy back then, but also very likeable. He's a good guy he says. Unionjack

Tautvix 1,321
I am not worried about Courtois or Hazard leaving as long as we play well and keep winning. It looks like they have this kind of mentality. Keep winning and they will be happy. Blue-in-me-Veins

That's true, hopefully we can keep Tibo, Kante and Hazard throughout their prime years, would be hell of a foundation for success. Popular Post! Tomo 21,751 Posted November 20, 2016 Popular Post! Share Posted November 20, 2016 He may not have much to do but no and i mean no defense is as solid as ours without a top keeper. To keep concentration when you're not needed for long periods and to do the buisness when called upon with that Negredo save and couple other catches is a hugely underrated skill, its where Cudicini and currently De Gea let themselves down. We need to throw money at a new contact. KevinAshburner 1,270
let's hope that with Conte's new revolution at Chelsea and great vibes and positivity that he will want to stay for another few more years. he will want to stay and not go back to spain or to play for real madrid or i hope he stays for another 3 years at least. hopefully now he wants to stay now that mourinho the arsewipe and negativity that surrounds jose is gone. scargo 75
Courtois signed his £100,000-a-week Chelsea contract two years ago, when he returned from his three-year loan at Atletico, and will earn in excess of £150,000 a week if he commits his long-term future to the Blues.  http://www.telegraph.co.uk/football/2016/11/23/chelsea-boost-diego-costa-thibaut-courtois-close-signing-new/
bababoom 4,478
I have to say Courtois has surprised me, big time. His passing out of the back has been sublime, i'm actually shocked how quickly he has adapted to this style of play. Under Mourinho he seemed to have a panic attack every time he was asked to touch the ball with his feet, but now he seems so much calmer and his passing has been on point. Chelseabluerising, MefiX19, kellzfresh and 1 other
Fernando 6,585
This guy is still very outspoken, however I can see he likes tactics. Because that is all he mostly talk about. Maybe he has the sign of a future manager? Since he is so big about tactics and all that and giving that he played under Simeone, Mourinho and now Conte.
