It's that time of year again where rainfall is about ten times the amount of the June average and frequent mudslides threaten to undermine a stage that doesn't look that stable at all... Glastonbruy is open us and it was opened with one almighty bang by U2 yesterday!!

I don't usually watch Glastonbury events, but I always get shocked every year about the number of people that turn up for the event!! It's unbelieveable!! I really like the flags that get waved! That's quite phenominal!

Its pretty crap to what it used to be to be honest. Been 6 times -its all corporate stalls and middle class wankers now.

But if youre actually there I suppose youre not restricted to the banal BBC coverage (800 employees with free tickets ???), theres plenty of intersting stuff going on rather than slash your wrists to Coldplay/U2 .

Mmm wonder if thats what that Tory bloke did on the bog ....
