This is so wrong. Lampard hasn't been better than Raul this season.

He is not been the Best I agreed with that but.... He is so much better than Maireless More Gools and Assist... Maireless is Useless at the moment

It seems to me that avb is in a no win situation. The 'big names' apparently are giving him a rough ride so he has to turn to the players who believe in his project ie bos and raul. I know I'd rather start with players I thought would give me 100% over ones who make it clear they wont. Problem is those players aint exactly our top operators right now. You have to admire the guy for sticking to his principles, would have been very easy to just cave in and play the old guard as usual in their usual way in an attempt to keep everyone onside whilst under ever increasing media pressure

No you dont. His way of "leading" is pure arrogance and if your failure it hits you with twice speed, and thats what the little man now is feeling. Player management, tactics,

media appearance, he has failed in every aspect. He knew what he went into, he just aint made of that stuff like his mentor. What he can be Frustraed about is the lack of public

statement from the top, we belive in you! but with this stupid board and owner no suprise.

AVB proved why he should stay last night.

He has the balls to drop big names when they're not performing. Well played.

Not mention that he got his tactics spot on imo. We were able to absorb their pressure in the first half and score and in the second half we dominated them up until that horrendous piece of defending.

First of all, we got better when Cole came on, tell me why did he came on the pitch?. Agree a period of second half we played better, but still along way from CFC standard, they should/could have won 4-1

I meant by tactics our approach of the game in terms of how players position on the field, the tempo, our defensive and offensive strategies....not the line-up. Cole coming on had nothing to do with how the match panned out, and fir the record, ashley only offered two things in the match: That goal-line clearing and awful defending for all other Napoli attacks.

The performance might not have been up to CFC standards, but it was perhaps the best possible from this squad of players under those circumstances and with such low confidence and moral.

We lost the ball so many time, tempo?. position, we were like cows trying to run away from flies in the summer. No offense just disagree.

We had 58% possession and 15 goal attempts and almost all Napoli Chances came from individual defensive mistakes.....we weren't that bad.

If he had his "tactics spot on" we would have saw essien ramires and a romeu midfield

What about Meireles and Bosingwa then, are they performing..............I think not.

AVB has shown himself to be egotistical............why else play out of form and ineffective players, surely not for the benefit of the team.

W

Well his lineup was illogical and rational, far from getting his tactics spot on in that category

Of course you have every right to criticize AVB but I am a firm believer that the manager knows the players much better than the fans do. Cole was not started because he was not 100% fit while Lamps seems to be leading the revolution against Andre. Essien has not played full 90mins since returning, the manager obviously thought that he could not keep up with the pace of such game.

You have to realize that Andre is in a position where some players don't want him at the club and unfortunately for him, the ones who do believe in him include Bosingwa and Meirieles.

That's what I expect as well, but can you look at Meireles performances over the past month and say he's giving 100%? Compare this performance with his earlier ones this season. Whenever he gave away the ball away yesterday he hardly made an attempt to get it back, and his tackles were half-hearted attempts. I don't want to even talk about his involvement in build-up play.
