Chelsea Sack Andre Villas-Boas

Tactics - Well he had good tactics against Valencia, and Man city.

Team harmony - I think it's more of the players who are disrupting that.

Substitutions - Some weird ones, yes... but it's not like he's blessed with world class in form players.

Motivation - Again, we had motivation against Valencia and man city. Also it's hard to motivate players when some of the players are disrupting the squad.

Selection - What do you mean? he likes to rotate.

Bringing through youth - Pretty risky in my view, we are having such a bad season, we need to try and win every game.

Players respect - Player power...as soon as this goes the players will start to respect the manager.

Good tactics in 2 out of 37 games not good enough really.

So if its the players disrupting harmony, motivation, and respect for him, then the employer is duty bound to fire the manager. Maybe when the golden oldies on the bench are gone you will see less player power, but the fact remains having a manager as young as that has been a big mistake by the club. Someone of the age of Mark hughes, Martin O'Neill and David Moyes are now the perfect age for a manager. All of them have had a good period of management and are young enough and experienced enough to become top managers with a top club.

Club needs to admit they fucked up...again

18 wins from 37 games with a full squad of internationals.

No where near good enough

It wasn't good enough last season either. Now the players are a year older. This was supposed to be Torres' season, except we all know how that has worked out. It's easy tp blame the manager but we were awful last season, we are even worse this season, the deadweight in the squad is the problem, there are far too many players in the squad who simply aren't up to the standard required.

I keep hearing that we should stick with him because he is young

Surely there should be a footballing reason to keep him?

Motivation - No

Selection - No

Bringing through youth - No

Players respect -No

The sort physio??

David Moyes was the only manager to get before AVB.

And if Chelsea can't spend because we fire AVB and throw away 100 million in managers and Torres in 2 season, then Moyes would be the only manager to work with little resources.

It's not Mourinho! Cause he will bitch and moan that he does not have the resources to produce a good omelet....

Moyes can work with even a budget of 25mill!

Moyes sells and then buys. Its time we implement a similar philosophy. We must sell our players at the right time so that we can avoid paying their pensions.

It's easier said then done!

People here only want to sell when the player is past his sell by date.

Like A. Cole. He should have been sold last season, I even said he should be a couple of weeks ago and got slated because of that.

Fact is that it's easier to said we should have sold this guy last season when we could have gotten more money.

Should have, could have, would have......

No, you would sack the employee who's disrupting the work space.

What AVB did for Porto is no fluke, he won the treble, including the Europa league. Now i know you cant compare that to the premier league, but even last season we were playing just as bad, and we had Carlo... he has enough experience... right.

Would Moyes be able to handle a big club though? So far he's had to manage with limited budgets and "small club mentality", we don't know how he'd fare with us.

I think it's far more better choice then the choices people give here.

Cause if they fire AVB to get someone like Brendan then they did not learn anything and it's the same bullshit all over again.

They want a young untested manager because he had one or two good seasons....

I would take a proven manager with over a decade worth experience in the EPL like Moyes any day.

If a manager or teacher cant control his pupils -every place I have worked they are quietly ushered out the door.

The club needs to employ someone who commands respect -the last was Mourinho, but this nerd isnt up to it

Two good match out of 37? I would say those are outliers

Two examples of what happens when the players listen to the coach, and his tatics, and theres no disruption.

At the end of the day we can slate AVB, but the same thing happened last season we were playing like shite, god knows how we managed to finish second.
