TacticalBlues 2,817
"we"Lot of people here already believes he is not the right man, and others wont be unhappy If he gets the axe but wont say it.Generally speaking I think most don't want him to be sacked. 5 months into the job, he's made mistakes yes, but like I've said already, he is working with a rusting squad. Give him time to buy his players and his methodology will begin to shine.

Ollie 4,400
Quite funny, takes Mata off for Josh and then like a minute later Wolves score.... how must he of felt. And then Lampard wins it very late, the highs and lows and the emotion of football. Love it.

Nic! 301
Was pretty angry actually that AVB didn't bring in any youngsters. Because from the 75th onwards, a lot of players were showing fatigue. I saw Lampard making a 'sub' sign to the bench around that time, for himself or for other players, I don't know.He let Lukaku warm up the whole second half and he called him to the bench in the 91th minute. He was just being used as a time stealer and even worse than that, because the ball didn't go out it didn't even came to his substitution. I could see the massive disappointment on Lukaku's face when he was standing there with the fourth referee.Same for Josh, but he actually got five minutes or so.If you know you ain't going to use the young lads, you can better leave them at home and save them the disappointment.Lampard saved AVB's ass. I'm glad for that, because I still like AVB as a manager. But he needs to change his attitude towards the youngsters, especially when you promised that you were going to be a youngster-oriented manager. MGuerreiro 252
Man United wouldn´t be at the level they are now if they axed Furgeson after one unsecsessful season. They kept the faith in his potential and how it paid off. We are not as succesfull as Man United but thats where we want to be on the long run. I as a Chelsea supporter want success like anybody else but i am not fooled by the ones who are saying that if we rush it, it will come. Impatience is asking for the impossible. I´d rather go through this season not celebrating any silverware than finding us manager-less in the summer with a bunch of cokey egos in the dressing room and some Chelsea fans who are behaving like they are managers and know the complexity of the game in and out and going on after every bad game "axe the gaffer, it is his fault, and only his fault".I am sick of this, i honestly am. Impatience and behaving like we are the biggest club in the world that will go to the dogs if we lose a game. It is not rocket science that things like a "long project" take time to develop. Calling AVB helpless and idiotic because of players that don´t do what they did before in playing good individualy and as a team is just something that is beyond me.After Moscow Chelsea should´ve started the transistion progress. Instead the board went for the biggest name around and clutched onto players that were on the peak, obviously, but not as imperior as before. Instead of investing in youth we went for the quick success. I don´t think that for the past three years the board has done anything better than appointing AVB. Starting from scratch, if you want.In fact i am so dissapointed after a result like yesterday but going on here and reading that people still act like there is one scapegoat and one individual to blame for a game as complex as football is just more disappointing. I often thought about not going on here and read what some people have to say (the vast majority luckily is reasonable) which goes like "axe him buy him than bing".Rant over. Thank you.Happy New Year.keep the motherfreaking faith and that lovely blue flag flying high, of course. but think once or twice before trolling around.Great post. warnie_666 1,081
Sometimes he seems incredibly naive. But we should be prepared to give him Summer transfer time and next season at least....He seems confused to me. After the Arsenal game he kinda went from high line to medium defensive block and all of a suddent we have been struggling to create chances and score goals. Initially his motto was you score but we score more. Now it seems like he isnt sure what the tactics should be. We are struggling to create chances and although got rid of high defensive Line we cant win a clean shit to save our asses.

Peace. 4,352
So, Who do you think AVB should sub today in the first half? Not particularly before the halftime. I've brought up this fact to say that some weeks ago he wasn't afraid to make change early on. Now even if it is going wrong, he does nothing.I would have subbed - at the half time - Cole for Bertrand, because he should have been sent off, and the red card was very very near, plus he was mis-controlling and mis-passing every ball. Meireles for Josh, because he was pretty useless. And later on, Bonsingwa for Hutchinson, no need to explain.

I would rather if they started, it would of eased them into the game, but bringing them on in the second half is a bit risky.
Fulham Broadway 17,313
If AVB gets the push before next Summer it will be a travesty.I know its the Russian way of doing things, but the personnel changes do nothing for any confidence of incoming encumbernts. If the Stamford Bridge revolving door keeps turning -then Gourlay and Buck should be thrown out as well .....
