Melanicus 5,208
Promising goalkeeper Jan Sebek has opted against extending his contract at Chelsea and has left the club.Instead of prolonging his association with the Blues, the 20-year-old shot-stopper has returned to his Czech roots and penned a three-year deal with FK Jablonec.Sebek departs Stamford Bridge after four years spent in the club's Academy and reserve sides. He was initially drafted in as a long-term replacement for countryman Petr Cech, but has been unable to make the progress he had hoped. As a result, Sebek has decided that his development would be better served in his homeland.AttentionHis agent, Viktor Kolar, told isport.blesk.cz: "For Jan it was a great experience to be at Chelsea."He has played regularly for the reserve team and a few times he has been involved with the first team and taken part in training sessions."The time has now come for him to attract more attention."He is bound to be an important member of the Czech U21 side and that is why we have decided to go with Jablonec, a side that traditionally gives young players an opportunity to shine."Source: http://www.skysports...6998453,00.htmlI really don't know what Chelsea do with they young talents... Kostas 1,468
Been known for around a month or so. He looked like the type of keeper with lightning reflexes and acrobatic saves in some of the games Esk posted around winter but wasn't a mainstay in either the reserves or the youth team. Let's not whine about every young player we don't sell for 20m/let free.
Tomo 21,751
If im going to be honest when i saw him he didn't convince me, not a great loss considering we have Delac and a keeper from Genk coming.
kwylino 329
Well we got Walker Taylor also in the team line up along with delac and that genk keeper. so competition was gonna be huge for him. so didnt look like he would have had heavy much or something
BlueLion. 21,491
The first of many 'next Petr Cechs' that will never make it at this club whilst we have the world's best goalkeeper as our number one.GK is not an area we should be focussing on. kwylino 329
Were only ever gonna have one Petr cech really. What i would like to see when cech is gone is not a next cech but a player to make a similar Or even larger legacy at the club and make their name in the club that no one else will repeat

Domino- 116
I do not understand why do some strong match last season. I do not know why leadership is so easy to give up their young goalkeepers and Sebek is not the only example. Rush Taylor unlikely to break not to mention Matej Delac
