Nasri is far too inconsistent, and like i said earlier on this thread, he had just 1 assist all of last season..

But i would still take him over Pastore and Modric - mainly because of price differences.

They are also reporting this in the Daily Mail : http://www.dailymail...amir-Nasri.html

Off course, that doesn't say much as the Mail isn't that reliable. Although, if this is covered up by the Telegraphe, the Daily Mail and the Guardian, maybe there a part of truth ? At least, I hope so lol.

I would be a good addition to our team in my opinion. And since he has only one year left on his contract, we would be able to land him for cheap (at least, cheap regarding the current market).

i wouldn`t mind getting him at the right price..would add some much needed flair..only turned 24 earlier this week and his girlfriend is yet another hot russian tennis player ...

By the way, she's french (russian origin) and she is retired, just to specify ^_^

And Nasri playes way better in the wings, and they already have Silva, Johnson, Balotely, Tevez...

Ask Justin from the forum, he sure that they need two wingers, not one :carlo:

Silva is not a winger.

He is a creative midfield like Deco.

Balotteli and Tevez are striker, with Balotteli a wild card. So i would not put all my hopes on him.

Leaving you with only one great winger like Johnson. So it makes sense that City are after him if they can't get Sanchez.

I still think it's a fake news.

Nothing to see where it says Chelsea is going to get in there.

But I do have to say, this would be a cheap option compare to Modric and Pastore.

If we are interested we should get Nasri + Modric/Pastore. Either way we get a winger and a creative midfielder. My friend is a Gooner and he told me that Nasri plays much much better on the wing, than as an Attacking midfielder. Though I doubt we are THAT interested.

Cheaper, younger, better than Modric. I'd be all for this transfer.Proven EPL class, and for half the price of Pastore, someone also with Champions League (group stage :Goober:) experience.

signing of the season.rolleyes.gif

Nasri is a goal scorer, not a creative midfielder. He likes to dribble the ball and try to smack one in, rather than pass it and get an assist. He is a great player, but do we need a goal threat from the midfield when we have Super Frankie Lamps?

07-08 was his best year 6 Goals and 15 Assists in all comps.

While in 10-11 he scored 15 times and only assisted 5.

so we should never sign anyone from within the league now because Torres had a bad season? Great postwhistling.gif

Nope, but that is a poor excuse.

Just cause he is not or is proven EPL player...

got to take chances like we did with Ramires, Ivan and David Luiz.

He didnt make that as an excuse, in fact it was only one point of six but it is relative! EPL experience is always a good thing to have when signing a player. I dont think we have ever shirked from signing a player from outside the EPL anyway

And as i pointed out, we spend 50 mill on one player just cause he is PL experience, instead of spending less on Cavani or Falcao.
