luke. 7
Arsenal struggling to offer him the wages he wants, Nasri reluctant to sign a contract. Surely we have to go for him? Throw Wenger's love Kalou in there too?

diskoviolente 425
Fantastic player, he has been massive for Arsenal this season. Can´t see him joining Chelsea though. But I thought the same about Torres ...

chrismada9 1,948
Roman needs to realise that Nasri is the cheaper and better option, rather than fight tooth and nail over a £30 million move for Modric! I'm amazed Chelsea haven't earmarked Nasri as a bill-fitting target!!
Bear-Felix 16
He is a good player but he's a dribbler, not a passer. He's definitely not the one we need to get the best out of Torres

ulsterchelsea 3,221
Would be a great signing if anyone at the club has even considered him, doubt it tho because he will prob go for a reasonable amount of money and we will splash out on someone going for 35 mill who can do the same job
LDN Blue 7,903
A great little playmaker, young too and can play wide. For this reason £20million+ would be a worthwhile risk.
Blue In Green 86
Problems not only in wages.Nasri criticizes Wenger and Arsenal too.I would prefer him over Kaka, Sneijder and others .Why, exactly? Sneijder was the spearhead for a European champion. Nasri is a role player on a club that's won nothing of consequence. I'm not saying Nasri is bad, I just think Sneijder is better. Madmax 9,219
On surface any playmaker is a great playmaker considering our current roster, but I'd prefer a central one myself along with two out-and-out wingers (whether traditional takes on his man and cross type or the inverted ones). For this reason £20million+ would be a worthwhile risk.Don't think he can cut it as a playmaker (to become a great one, though he can become a great final ball player like Ozil). I think he's at his best on the sides. That said, he would be a good buy but don't see it happening. I think he just wants more money and doesn't really want to leave Arsenal

When Fabregas was injured, Wenger would play him in the centre and he was sublime. Better than Fab sometimes, his movement, control, dribbling.. Beautiful. Yes he need work on the final pass, but he can shoot too which is very good for us. I really think he's wasted when he plays out wide.
