Guest justin_3d
Emenalo was spotted in the Maksimir Stadium by Croatian reporters and was approached after the derby match. Speaking with Sports Kenovsti he was quoted as saying he “really liked” Vukusic who is described as a “born goalscorer” before adding that he was “really interested” in the teenager. Chelsea hope to sign a big-name creative midfield player while Ajax right-back Gregory van der Wiel is also on the list. Another target is Hajduk Split striker Ante Vukusic. The telegraph was talking about players Chelsea might consider, and mention this guy, and to my knowledge i never heard of before.http://www.telegraph...pping-list.htmlhttp://www.telegraph...ions-style.htmlI would honestly say, that a transfer like this would be all in the Guus making. Guest justin_3d
Sounds interesting nonetheless. For once being link with an unknown player, then a star.I like deals like this. And if they are good, they might turn out like Ivan.

termninja 5,290
Why?At this time of his career, he should play as much as he can, rather then warming our bench. He'll hardly get a chance with Torres, Drogba and Sturridge battling for a place themselves already. Also, add to this Lukaku who we are close to sign from what I see. Igi26 346
Why striker? We need playmaker, best in Croatia is Milan Badelj. Vukušić is good but we need midfielder.

Bosnian Blue 2,471
Again overrated player by croatian media. He is something like Kalinic. We have good young players and don't need strikers.Playmaker is the one.

To me that sounds as if his job was to watch the next opposition and help the coaching staff work on a strategy.Anyway, he doesn't have coaching credentials, don't know why his opinion on a player should matter. Madmax 9,219
Player coaching & scouting is different though Of course, but once you don't have the ability to coach, you don't work with the player in training, you have no control in the way his career at your club might go. Hence your opinion shouldn't matter. Good coaches are good scouts, but the reverse isn't always true. And in Emenalo's case, it really isn't. And it's not as if he is a talent scout either, he's the (next) opposition scout.
