i'm not arguing either, just find it funny how some people are very touchy on here for no reason to say a certain player is shit should not be offending to anyone (unless you're part of his family or something)... plenty of people on here express their love for him with no logical explanations but that's ok i guess b/c its the majority opinion?
-
what proper arguments? his supporters on here are more interested in insulting people who dare to voice their opinion of turan than give arguments...as to me, i'll repeat that i've seen him play many times and i'll repeat my reasons for not rating him (even though i've already posted them): he is incredibly slow (JT might beat him in a race), he doesn't score, he doesn't assist and i find that much of his dribbling doesn't lead anywhere... we already have a similar player in willian who at least is fast and doesn't complain about defending... i honestly feel this would be a horrible signing and i find it funny that some people on here are so insecure about their own football knowledge that they feel the need to insult someone who has a different opinion of a player than them...
-
I have seen him play, he dribbles uselessly, is slow as fuck, doesn't score goals, doesn't assist.... alll of you here drooling over him and insulting anyone who doesn't rate him as "never having watched football" and "knowing nothing about football" are just making fools of yourselves with your close mindedness and inability to tolerate an opinion that differs from yours... he is not CFC level and the guy is complaining that simeone's system made him work (awwww poor baby) and that he's tired and wants to play in another system.... and all you geniuses here then think he will fit in with jose? and i'm the one who doesn't know about football lol? thank fuck the club lives in the real world and doesn't base its decisions on the popularity of a player among snobbish football hipsters

not sure if serious or trolling? some supporters here make me cringe
-
i really hope these are all bs rumors... what a shit start to the transfer window this would be, losing cech to the spineless gooners and now signing some old, shit turkish player... [emoji15]
-
we definitely don't need this guy and i really hope we don't spend a dime on him... he is slow as fuck, no end product, no thanks!
-
for most it is... unfortunately
-
wow of all the clubs in the world, he chooses that pathetic lot of whiny, spineless, deluded losers? the thing that is maddening about this is that arse have been gutless and spineless for years, from their manager down to their 3rd gk, and now we're giving them one of the most impressive leaders and winners in all of football... thanks for everything to PC and all but i will never consider him in the same way as if he went to psg or something, this is straight up betrayal to the chelsea fans who've supported and idolised him for more than a decade, as far as i'm concerned...
-
ramires is good enough to start any game for us imo, mikel no.... hence witsel would be perfect replacement for mikel and we would still have fab, matic, rami and witsel to choose from to form a midfield two... that's pretty decent flexibility if you ask me
-
I've loved this guy for a while and he's been solid for zenit, if unspectacular.... truth is the russian league is below his level and he probably isn't as motivated there as he would be in a real top european league like the premie league. I rate him much more than schneiderlin who has only been somewhat ok at a midtable club, witsel has european experience with zenit and benfica as well as with belgium. would love to have him here to replace mikel, he is like mikel but with better attacking prowess and overall more dynamic.

most of the flops you mentioned were not jose signings, it was widely reported sheva was roman... kalou was a great back-up striker imo, he could come off the bench and score (even if watching him would drive us insane at times) so i don't count that as a flop... as to pizarro, it was jose but if i remeber correctly we didnt have cash to soend that summer and bought shite like him, sidwell, ben taim etc... dont think he would have signed pizarro if we had cash for better players...and ironically, your story about sheva just goes to show that you never know, just like a striker who scored 28g in 40 games for milan (didnt remember he did quite so well in his last year there but i take your word for it) can be a flop for us, by the same token a striker who was plagued with injuries last year and dealt with a new coach, team (team in disarray btw) and league can be amazing for us... anyways my point is jose knows better than all of us and there is a reason why we topped the prem and that jose is the special one. i've learned with mata and David luiz (two of my favorite players in the past few years) that sometimes even when something jose does looks/feels wrong, it can and probably will turn out great in the end
-
sheva was 30 and on the wane a bit... falcao is 29 and struggled last season because he tried to rush back from serious injury in a very short span of time, then found himself in a team in total disarray with a manager who was mixing and matching his team each week because it was his first year in the premier league and manu were struggling, obviously those are some of the worst set of circumstances he could have found himself in for his first season in England... as to your request for one good reason: it's good enough for Jose, whose job depends on making such calls, so it should be good enough for you.

lolwut? arguably the greatest manager in the world, chelsea's greatest ever manager, the man who's just won us a double and the prem for the first time in 5 years... this is the guy you would "seriously start to doubt" his "footballing judgement and his mental abilities"? just because YOU don't understand this transfer? is this serious lol? the delusions of grandeur of some people on this board are quite astounding... have you ever considered the fact that jose doesn't want to just sit still and be content with the prem we won but actually wants a squad that can challenge for the champions league? now tell me, if we're losing in a CL kock-out game and costa is being subbed off, who would you want to come in as a sub, bamford or falcao? also to suggest jose and the board want falcao because of youtube compilations is beyond laughable, no offense but i will take jose's assessment of a player over yours, or anyone else's here, any day... out of all the things you said, only one made sense and that is that losing remy would suck.... however, since we don't know who will replace him IF he leaves, it's a moot point to argue right now whether it would ultimately be beneficial or not for the squad as a whole, it might end up being an upgrade. i'm just amazed at the criticism jose can receive by our own fans, having just won us a prem and league cup double, for simply signing ON LOAN a player who's had world class seasons prior to his injury and who might end up being amazing.... apparently this is now enough to question jose's footballing knowledge and overall decision making, wow

shaun wright-philips for 24M£
-
lol says the guy with sehva as his avatar...
-
you said 60, not 30 lol, did you read your post i quoted above: "Fuck him, get Marchisio. He's the CM we should spend £60m on."
-
spend 60M£ on marchisio the 30 y.o. instead of pogba, brilliant!
-
people on here comparing Griezmann to Salah is kind of a joke... griezmann plays for the french NT, he has proven himself at the highest level of european football with simeone and atletico, he scores loads of goals in a top 2 league in the world in la liga.... salah was an egyptian playing for a swiss team who had a few decent moments in the europea league lol... not to mention nothing in their style of game is similar either, salah relies on his pace and that's pretty much all he has, griezmann is technically gifted, smart player who scores a lot to boot
-
double post
-
wow i've read it all now... is this a joke?
-
ah man that must suck! he is literally the WORST I've ever read/listened to... it's shocking how moronic some of his comments and ideas are
-
the independent's transfer gossip sectionseems to think so (they're quoting the daily express though )
-
according to the rumors/reports, is there a chance we sign both douglas costa and cuadrado or are we looking to sign one or the other? i guess if both salah and schurrle leave it would make sense to get both. that would be quite an upgrade actually: cuadrado for an underperforming schurrle (although i like him, i think he may want to leave and there are reportedly offers for him) and douglas costa for a very poor player (imo, don't get your panties in a twist) in salah...
-
says the guy who thinks that salah is douglas costa is amazing technically, great at set pieces, great vision, great crossing, decent shooting and is good at anticipating play ... i wouldn't hesitate at all to sign him
-
why no more brazilians? not really like we've had a particularly bad experience with them...
