  1. Messi leaving I can understand, but Messi comin here is something that would rock the world of football... Don't see it honestly. If rumors are true that Pep is going to manage either manchester teams, messi will follow I think.
  2. Different mentality. A lot of them grew very poor. However, they start making money and realize training and football is second to partying and fame.
  3. He's spanish with a pep picture as his profile......
  4. Most expensive signing is already Neymar. No player in the next few seasons will cost more than neymar.
  5. Well, if you guys think about it suarez ran the show at liverpool and now is either option 2 or 3 are a superior team, yet, only managed 8 goals so far for barcelona. Bale to the same respect had a inferior spurs squad, yet managed amazing stats, and went to madrid as option 2 or 3 and hasn't really lived up to their expectations. So, neymar can have suarez, messi and whoever, but suarez stats never improved from liverpool. In addition, Suarez is in his prime, whileas Neymar is far from it. Also, hazard isn't the man in belgium and his stats are far from good... So, even though hazard had inferior players on chelsea, the fact he is the "man" of the team really is the best position for him to get stats and "create." You can argue that Mata had torres as well, but he went to united with a team that had a better attacking options as well in rooney, rvp, falcao, herrara, Di maria, yet, isn't anywhere close to getting the same stats as in 2012.
  6. Neymar does do it, just not as often as he should be.
  7. It's different. Most players can't make the pass, Neymar can. Neymar like Robben both have superior passing abilities, yet both are selfish "creators." Mikel is not. He passes backwards, therefore has a high passing completion.
  8. Do people remember azpi playing rb? He was never really anything special going forward,so, I'm a bit confused why people think it's night or day with his ability going forward or maybe everyone just wants ivan dropped in place of luis.
  9. Mata had service to Torres as well.
  10. If you watch players, you can tell their technical ability and neymar has that in terms of passing. However, like Robben, he is a very selfish player more often than not.
  11. exactly. Title over. Time to begin thinking about the team next season
  12. Not sufficient money I was talking about. it was direct quotes from jose and their so called new financial plan of not buying really expensive players and high wages, etc. Obviously, pogba can be bought at whatever amount, but I think they will be hesistant now.
  13. Hazard is stronger, because he's stocky. Neymar on the otherhand is faster, quicker and has better stamina. Neymar has the ability to be a really good playmaker, but I think at a young age he was developed to be the goal scoring threat he is now, so, the mentality isn't there for neymar which was evident during brazil's world cup run.
  14. Definitely link up play. Dribbling depends. Neymar has amazing speed and quickness, so he always tries to go pass people, but his dribbling is really good. However, hazard is exceptional.
  15. Both atletico and belgium's defensive tactics helps thibo look better, but he's still in the second tier of gks in my opinion. First tier being neur by himself. Having said that Thibo is the present and the future and should stay like that.
  16. Neymar passing ability is really good, but he's a selfish player at times, so, he either doesn't sees it well or doesn't pass it purposely. Techincally, Neymar is better than hazard as well.
  17. Neymar is a fantastic goalscorer thats why. He's overall game is not great, but scoring goals is something he does extremely well in. Free kicks, counters, long shots, tap ins, 1v1s, etc. Also, brazil plays through neymar since scolari took over.
  18. That makes sense, however, I think barcelona first choice player is Koke. For some reason I think thiago silva will eventually be a barca player
  19. It was a statement because people here were afraid of the youth team being affected negatively.
  20. Both cavani and falcao were rejected because of the financial implications for both players. Pogba will command similar numbers to them, even though he has substantial resale value. City on the otherhand spend big money on all their players. Mangala went for some crazy number as did bony and a subpar goalkeeper, would not surprise me to see city again splash a crazy number on a player.
  21. Varane has many options. Just because he played for Jose at Real doesn't mean Jose has the first option at Varane. However, I agree that CB is the position of uptmost importance this summer. Concerning City, age is a real threat to them, but overall the team just seems to drop off every other season. When United won the league a few seasons back, City was second, but that year as well, they were anything but really good.
  22. Pogba and barcelona doesn't make any sense at all. Pogba isn't really known for workrate/pressing and his short passing isn't really up to barcelona standards. Pogba needs to go to a direct team or counter attacking team like Madrid.
  23. Both pogba and varane will be big money, therefore, will the new financial plan, I don't think either come here. Especially Pogba... Also, I doubt barcelona pogba and barcelona would be a good fit. His game doesn't fit barcelona and vice versa. City he can essentially take over for Yaya and play b2b with both sterling and silva in the wings.
  24. injury prone. Jack is still a very good player, but injuries have gotten the best of him these days.
  25. Yes and no. Kane will win it because. 1. English 2. Young/new face of england 3. The amount of goals he scored in the second half of the season/his breakout play I would give hazard the award, but, I can really see Kane winning both individual awards this year.
