I take it he expects Kakuta to sign a new deal very soon then. But i find it kind of hard to believe that once he praises Borini and now he's become nothing. One good youngster we had here was Mbark Boussoufa, who has since became a quality midfeilder in his home country. I think Borini could also become a very good player, but i hope he doesn't leave us. Good to see Sturridge mentioned, but like Alex i don't believe that not ONE player will come in. Someone like a youngster (Lukaku ) and loaned back is an idea, but someone like Aguero or Torres is a defo no. Guess it is too early to start think of January, we do have two months between then, we don't know what could happen. But never say never :eyebrows:

Think we could either get a narrow win or beat them amazingly. Lampard back in the mix, i think our midfeild will finally have that spark it had at the start of the season, ie the balance of attack to defence. Mikel doing the defensive work, Essien and Lampard forward, meaning that we can score more. Guessing Malouda -- Drogba -- Kalou/Anelka for the front three, Anelka might need a rest because of the CL game in midweek. For the back four, with Bosingwa starting, we would finally have the threat on both sides instead of just the left with Ashley. Lampard hat-trick would do well as a nice welcome back present

I have feeling Kakuta and Kalou could be either starting or on the bench. Would like to see Mellis and Borini get some minutes, the latter more tbh.

To be fair, they're both awful but i would be more confident if Hilario was on the team sheet then Turnbull. I hope that 1: we sell Turnbull in January and get Begovic, 2: Hilario retires or goes back to Portugal in the summer, that way we can have a decent back up and then the third could be one our young keepers (Delac, Taylor, Walker, Sebek). But it all depends on whom is playing defence, if it's ALEX -- Terry then give him a go, Alex is terrific and cutting back to solve any problems as is Terry. Ivanovic, in my opinion, is better on cutting down players and dispossessing them and tackling full on.

Yes i too believe this claim, and also support it too. A striker the scores 5 goals in one reserve game and is overhyped? Maybe he is helping such high expectations with some good looking performances. To let Borini go out on a free (nor at all) is a stupid mistake in my most honest opinion. The lad has the potential to be a quality player for us or anybody, unlike Di Santo who had a good run but couldn't produce when given the chance.

Has Sinclair, Di Santo nor anyone else score 5 goals in one match in the reserves at 18 years old?
