Zola for me. He has experience in managerial past as both Italy under 21's, and at West Ham, he would be respected by the players because of his playing history and his football days at the club, would be a firm favourite with the fans and also he can speak both English and Italian. It would be wonderful if Zola then would replace Carlo as manager after a couple of seasons at the whelm, or even Zola would take charge of the team during the Carling Cup or something. Do somethiing like Ally McCoist at Rangers.

dammit another game i've missed! I must say the result looks very alarming to me, but i can't say anything on the matter due to the fact i haven't seen the game so i can't rate the overall performance with the result. I think we need to start scoring more, because we have a very small squad and having a goal difference may be the difference at the end. Here's hoping Lampard is back for the weekend and i am able to watch it, something which seems to be troublesome due to the fact my computer fucked up the other day.

Hoping for an easy result, something comfortable. This is the result we need after such a bad game with Liverpool. Bounce back, and bounce with confidence.

I think the next couple of players we would be linked to would be Bobby Moore, Maradona, Pele, Bobby and Jack Charlton. Hell, i guess we would step into the direction of actors and singers next. I say Justin Bieber should be the first signing, the shirt sales would be immense and no fucker would want to be around him when he says the ball, the perfect replacement for Drogba or Anelka.

I missed the game, i went out came back and saw the score, and wasnt surprised to be fair. I was expecting either us to win them or they would won, but the only difference was, i thought it would be Gerrard that would have been the saviour. The only outcome which gives me annoyance would be the overhaul of praise and worhsip which Torres and Liverfool would recieve as well as the stupid, King Torres Slays Corrupt Dragon shit which is written. But it will be us who will be laughing as we win the trophies and the league and look back as one of the bumps in the road in an otherwise smooth road.

More dominant side, yet unable to get the win. Maybe we are missing a big old striker up-front? We had Mitrovic and Borini before right? Both finishers. Do you rate this youth team to last years or the year before that Esk? Seems to me Blackman isn't as good as Sam Walker is.

:tophat: Hats off to Spartak for the first half, they came did what that needed to do, but unlucky they weren't able to get the lead. But like always it was the mightier team that stood out, for me, we need to have a constituency to our play to both the first and second half in order to win the Champions League this season. In order to beat the bigger sides like Real, Barca, we need a 100% committed team who is on top of their game. Hopefully Anelka can carry on his terrific form as of late to bang in more goals, while Drogba's finding his form again. I think this is going to be Anelka's year to overshadow Drogba, and i think we might benefit it by breaking records and meeting expectations.

It's such a burden not to have tommy commenting. I feel like the game can be summed up so perfectly and so emotionally from Tommy's passionate words. Tommy, where are you!

Brilliant second half performance. Ivanovic at fault for Spartak goal but got back the MoM for me for scoring his second. Another great cameo performance from McEarhan, makes me wonder how superb he would be if he actually started a game. Sturridge was another brilliant performer who came on and should have finished that goal. Ramires played good aswell, and should have scored. Kakuta did enough for me also. Overall, the Chelsea we want/need to win the CL came out in the second half, now here hoping we can start some youngsters in the next CL game.
