Willian just isn't a natural goalscorer lol

I think he needs to go. He needs time out there to get better and while I don't think he's a bad player I don't see him overtaking any of our current wingers. They just demand too much demand...his best chance is getting a shot while Andre is struggling and it's still not really happening.

We'll capitalize eventually. Hazard has had some good and bad attempts at a goal but he's making his presence known either way. Matic is a one man wrecking crew. Cesc is slow in the pivot....great offensively but defensively it just isn't him. Tries but doesn't have the all out ability.

Schurrle needs to mark his man better. Can't keep letting this happen. Lampard did what he's paid to do. He doesn't need to appease anyone by not playing or not scoring and he can go wherever the hell he chooses to go. And this is coming from someone who honestly wanted him to retire sooner. Some of you sound foolish. Willian is always going to struggle with decision making. He'll chase down opposing players, glide thru traffic with the ball at his feet and then make a disgustingly lazy pass or just the wrong pass in general. Drogba shouldn't be playing ahead of Remy. Seriously.

Some of my random insightful comments on the match: - This team has no idea how to play with effort for a whole game. Since last year and probably before that, depending on 1) who they play or 2) whether or not they already scored determines how much effort they will play with at said point in the match. Mid-table team? Trot up and down pitch. Score 1-0 in our favor? Trot up and down the pitch. It's frustrating. - Hazard weaves through defenders effortlessly. He was a little selfish at times yesterday though. - Filipe Luis is quite dependable with the ball at his feet, and does a good job finding teammates with passes and crosses. He has to play more. - Drogba....happy to have you back. Father Time has clearly taken some ability away from you, the explosiveness is gone. You made the right cuts, you played hard and were always aware of what to do...but you just didn't have to speed or touch of the past to finish it off. Aging sucks. - Draxler is a speed demon. I'm shocked he's still at Schalke but who knows...maybe he stays for a prolonged period of time. - Prince-Boateng...very versatile and very abrasive. Took some stupid shots, took some threatening shots but it was Huntelaar who managed to even it up.

I didn't say all that now just people have been assuming we'll blow every team out just because, so far every team we've played has been solid competition regardless of the score.

Another tough team people will underestimate strictly due to the name on the jersey. We'll take this 2-1 though.

This match had everything. Drama, fighting, bad mistakes, great plays, you can't go wrong with this one. Our next match against Everton is gonna be crazy.

See what happens when you think shit is all sewed up? They thought they were set after that own goal. Stop underestimating your opponent...

They were bound to score, they've been strong when attacking and just needed a real breakthrough.

They are gonna end up scoring with the rate their going at. Just have to keep attacking regardless, don't go all out defensive so early.

This is far from over but great start so far. Courtois with a great save and the offsides call keeps our momentum high for now.

Honestly I don't care if Remy's motivation is his "love for Chelsea" or money, as long as it lets him be productive that's all I care about. So why don't we give him a chance before completely writing him off.

Ba wasn't a bad player though, he just wasn't a #1 striker. And while Remy shouldn't be a #1 either, his skill set helps him bring a bit more to the table than Ba.

Costa doesn't need to be challenged. The man is clearly our #1 option up top, that's what we signed him for. Nothing wrong with having a clear hierarchy amongst players.

This might be a tough one. We have to handle the tempo just right, Everton play a free flowing fast paced game. I would like Luis to get a shot but as others have said this might not be the game to see what he's made of but I also feel if he's that good he can handle it. We'll see what Mourinho does. I would let Willian get the start at RW. Not only is he perfect for attacking on the counter but he'll make his presence know tracking back on defense.
