  10. Schweingsteiger ? good he aint that good any way !
  11. How do you rate Frank Nouble and fabio borini esk. My opinion of nouble is he is too tall and strong to be a winger but he is really skillful. fabio needs to learn how too finish in my opinion his record is shocking.
  12. Why cant we find young quality like aguero, look frank the dutch man has done a decent job for the youth academy. The only young player we have who is just pure class is obi, robben was good but he was glass. I just think we should be signing 21 -24 year old players like van der varrt wesley schneider robinho. Opposed to ballack 30 + deco 30 + anelka 30 + dont get me wrong anelka, ballack, and deco are all good players but for how long ?
  13. Chelsea defender Alex has reiterated his desire to leave Stamford Bridge when the transfer window reopens in January. The Brazilian claimed earlier this month he was hoping to find a new club after failing to hold down a regular place in the Blues side. Chelsea rejected claims that Alex had handed in a transfer request, but the player is adamant he needs to move on in search of regular first-team action. Panathinaikos and Alex's former club PSV Eindhoven are both believed to be interested in signing the tough-tackling centre-half. Alex claims he tried to leave the West London club in the summer and he is confident his wish will be granted in January. "I know it's not the best time to go in January, in the middle of the season. But I have to think about other things, I have to think about my own interests," Alex told The Sun. "I tried to leave before this season started but when (Luiz Felipe) Scolari arrived they did not want to let me go. I had already spoken to the club before he came. Now that the transfer window will open again in January I will try again. I think this time it will happen." Difficult The 26-year-old admitted the form and partnership of John Terry and Ricardo Carvalho made it difficult for him to establish himself in the Chelsea starting XI. "It's a difficult situation for me. I have nothing against the manager but he has two great defenders in Terry and Carvalho. I have nothing against the guys who are playing - they are always very good," added Alex. "Chelsea have one of the best defences in the world. Terry and Carvalho are doing very well. They don't make many mistakes and have been playing together for four years." Alex insists he has no problems with Blues boss Scolari and that he is only seeking to leave so that he can play on a regular basis. "It wasn't a question of whether the new manager was Brazilian, it was always going to be difficult for me," he added. "There are big clubs where I could be playing while here it's more difficult for me. There are so many big clubs who need centre-backs. There were so many offers in the summer but they did not let me go. "The only problem is I want to play, that's the only problem I have."
  14. A pilot with more than 30 years experience has been forced to turn his plane around - because he was not qualified to land in fog. Skip related content Related photos / videos Passengers on the 8.45am Flybe flight to Paris were just minutes away from landing at their destination when they were told they would have to go all the way back to Cardiff. One passenger from Bristol missed a job interview in France because of the incident. Cassandra Grant explained: "Twenty minutes outside Paris, the captain said, 'Unfortunately I'm not qualified to land the plane in Paris. "'They are asking for a level two qualification and I only have a level five. We'll have to fly back.'" A spokeswoman for the airline said Flybe backed the pilot's decision "100 per cent". He had recently switched from flying a Bombardier Q300 to a Bombardier Q400 and has not completed the "requisite low-visibility training," she said. The dense fog covering Charles de Gaulle airport had not been there when the flight took off, she added. The plane was already three hours late due to bad weather in Wales. The pilot's situation is "quite unusual but probably not unheard of," according to the Civil Aviation Authority.
  15. Joe cole is not the type of player he is trying to talk about !
  16. Real Madrid are set to seal a deal for Portsmouth midfielder Lassana Diarra, according to Spanish sources. Skysports.com revealed on Monday that the Spanish champions were ready to move for Diarra - who was being lined up by Premier League outfits Manchester City and Tottenham. But now Juande Ramos looks set to step in and land the 23-year-old former Arsenal and Chelsea star. "The big players are already in the Champions League and cannot be signed," Ramos is quoted as saying. "If the players do not have the quality, then we will miss them - the players have to be worth it." And on Diarra he added: "He is a player I know well, and I would like a player like Diarra here." It is claimed that Real will pay £9million for Diarra and they hope to announce his signing in the next 48 hours. Diarra is being brought in after his namesake, but not relation, Mahamadou Diarra was ruled out for the rest of the season.
