No he did not lose pace.. He was playing in second gear against norwich...if a full back covers him he is just opting for a back pass i think he is evolving into more of a playmaker..like iniesta..his passing has been improved.. he just does not dribble as much as before..i think that is mainly due to lack of fitness and injuries.. Once he is in top physical shape he will be back..imo he is close to getting there!
