At the end of the day his contract is with Chelsea. I would have thought that in his contract, there is something written that he is expected to play as and when required by the manager and the club. Carlo is not stupid, he knows when to rest him and indeed any of the players in the squad.

Don't think I will be going to work today as it's come down hard in the night where I am and it's still coming down now.

Yeah i'm sure we won't need it. Silly question, i'm assuming that a replay only happens if the result is a draw? Also what's the reasoning behind them coming to us for the replay?

It also says that if it has to be replayed it will be a 7.45 kickoff on the 3rd February.

Very pleased with that result. Superb goal from Frankie and I thought Daniel put in a good performance, pitty he didn't play for the full 90 minutes as I think he could have scored again and got the hat trick. Just hope this is how mean to go on for 2010.

OK, first match of 2010 and so as we know a must win for us if we want to progress further in the FA Cup. It looks as though Anelka will hopefully return to the squad for this game after recovering from a small hamstring tear he picked up in training, which will be good news for the squad now that Drogba has left for the ANC.

I'm well aware that their may well be problems. I just want to enjoy the whole experience, but at the same time I know I need to be safety conscious. I'm sure it will all be fine.

Drogba for me. I think we're definitely going to miss him during January.

I think I went through every emotion possible yesterday, anger, joy, frstration etc..Just wish we hadn't taken so long to equalise. I guess it all comes with the teritory of supporting the Chels. Glad we came away with a win, just hope that we can keep the momentum going. Got back really late as Fulham Broadway tube shut down due to an emergency, hence my late reply.

OK December hasn't been our best month so far, but we are still top of the league, just, obviously we need a win today to maintain that. I think it would be a big mistake to get rid of Carlo after what he's achieved. You would have a very disheartened squad if that were to happen. I tend to agree that you can't blame the manager completely, the players must take some of the blame too after all it is them out on the pitch. I think January will be a testing time with players heading of to play in the ANC and will give a real chance for some of the youngsters to get out there and show what they can do.

Yeah agree we must win on Monday against Fulham and continue straight into the New Year starting with Hull City away , Sunderland at Home, Birmingham at Home, Burnley away. Hardly tough games I would have thought, so no room for any slip ups. Just need to utilise the squad carefully and show that we are worthy of being top of the league.

Good news, and hopefully he will deliver the goods on Monday to widen the gap between us and Manure.

I just hope Ancelotti can come up with something against Fulham who will be in a confident mood after after their win against Manure.

Useless absolutely fucking useless. What happened to us? Sturridge I thought put in a good performance and I thought JT and Cech did a good job too. Not sure what happened with Drogba. Manure are playing Hull tomorrow, they'll surrely win that match.
