I just don't like short goalies in general. I know there was a season when Cudicini was one of the best in the league. But I just am never comfortable with short Keepers no matter what.

Maybe Cech is like me and doesn't want to see a short goalkeeper at Chelsea. Hilario, Cudicini, I never felt comfortable with them.

Peter Cech is personally pushing for Mendy. From the stats he can make some saves and is one of the best in the world at claiming crosses, which was one of our biggest issues last season. Our team are not just going out there to sign the coolest goalkeeper, they're looking at our weaknesses and trying to fix them at the cheapest price possible. Good on them.

CHO isn't bad to be honest. But I had hoped we wouldn't see mount or RLC on the wings again. That is looking very likely now

Hopefully we work out a scenario where Havertz plays behind werner but making runs into the box occasionally so that the strike position will be occupied by him when werner slips to the left and pulisic comes centrally. Something like this Werner - Havertz - Ziyech Pulisic This kind of scenerio should be happening occasionally during the match

Looking at the heat maps of our four attackers last season, they will be interchanging positions a lot if they all play together. Hopefully Lamps works out the best tactical situation for them.

I always knew that due to the covid and Leverkusen not making it to the Champs League, that we couldn't possibly pay 100million for Havertz. Leverkusen are the ones who need the money, paying above 100mil is a terrible negotiation move. Only Clubs with huge finances/Stature will force you to pay through your nose.
