  1. Last season Tottenham underperformed, Leicester fell off a cliff in the 2nd half of the season and there was no Everton sniffing around. This season could end badly if Lamps doesn't find a tactic that works without our only creative player in Ziyech and a half fit Pulisic
  2. He hasn't learned honestly. We just have a better goalkeeper and a more creative player than willian in Ziyech. The moment Ziyech goes, we can't create chances or score to save our lives
  3. It's quite annoying that we were looking up just few weeks ago and suddenly we're just 2 points above David Moyes Westham after 13 matches which is a significant 1/3 of the season..... Aaaaargh
  4. He's the brain of the team. Without him we suck
  5. We cant seem to complete a pass all over the pitch in the last two games. I don't know what we have been training but not good enough, the intensity, the drive and speed of play is not there. And is our tactic only to cross into the box?
  6. Not a good game again. He's not the creative spark we thought he was so far. We badly need Ziyech back.
  7. It's looking sad at the moment. The moment our two main creative players (Ziyech and Pulisic) couldn't play, the onus was on Havertz to do something and he has hidden in his shell. Sad to see, i was honestly hoping he could pull something for once. The only team he has played outstanding this season was against a championship team.
  8. I'm hoping he does honestly. Everyone is completely convinced he will become world class definitely. I have never been convinced about tall, lanky attacking midfielders as I feel they won't have the guile and mobility to thrive in tight spaces. A lot of us criticized Mount for better performances than him last season, hopefully Havertz performs and shuts me up in no time.
  9. His form is up and down, just there so far for us These were my initial thoughts before we bought him http://forum.talkchelsea.net/topic/28759-kai-havertz/?page=4 http://forum.talkchelsea.net/topic/28759-kai-havertz/?page=6 I was not convinced initially but a lot of people spoke about him so highly that I thought I was the only Chelsea fan who couldn't see his potential so I had to accept his positives and hoped for the best. So far I'm yet to be convinced as our most expensive signing, he should be doing more. I'm really hoping he proves my initial reading of him wrong
  10. Very annoying to miss out on him during this festive period
  11. Kante was a boss last night. So glad to have him at his best
  12. It's starting to get serious now. He is getting away with it way too often. We can seriously lose points because of him if he continues to miss the most easiest chances. Honestly I'm beginning to get worried. He does so well to get into dangerous positions all the time but he just cant be missing all the time like this, it could cost us in a big game.
  13. I thought Kovacic would be better against Leeds pressing, then bring on Havertz in the second half when they are tired from pressing. Hopefully we get through Leeds early high energy pressing and hit them on the break
  14. You won't know how important his runs off the ball are till he's taken off. We couldn't build momentum after that.
  15. Should we start getting worried about spurs? They look like a typical Mourinho title contending team. City look average, what happened to them? The lack of Aguero, David Silva or Sane?
  16. Good win after a tricky international break. Werner should have scored a couple but he didn't let his misses put him down. He kept running, pushing, being involved till he assisted, shame his goal in the end was offside. Abraham did well being a presence in the middle. Mount, Kovacic, chillwell, james, Rudiger and Ziyech were all okay performance wise. Kante was the man of the match, making tackles and interceptions everywhere. Zouma was a close second. Mendy was a calm presence in goal, which is great to see. We need to maintain momentum as our next 5 premier league games are tougher ones. Lamps will have to rotate much more to cope with the festive period
  17. The guy is an assist King, incredible
  18. I agree with what you said, but Thiago is a great passer and that separates him from people like Kovacic. Thiago can give first time passes at accurate speed and dominate a game. Passing is the fastest way to progress the ball forward, especially to unlock defences for people like Werner to run in behind. Those first time passes thiago gave to runners like Alfonso davies and Coman to cross for lewandoski tap ins were vital.
  19. He is so comfortable on the ball and completely opens up new angles for passing with his style. Long switches of play to James and passing between the lines. Fantastic player
