Gallagher would need more experience imo. Ampadu seems the best option. People will target counterattacks against us so I wouldn't want a soft Gallagher or Gilmour there to be honest. I want someone that will allow Ziyech and Havertz not worry too much about defensive duties

I wonder what we are doing about the defensive midfielder position. If Kante gets injured again, we're depending on Jorginho to protect Werner, Ziyech, Havertz, Pulisic upfront. We are begging to be hit on the counter guys. Unless Lampard has a plan for Mount, because he's a good tackler but getting a Defensive midfielder (our Casemiro) making the tackles even temporarily would not hurt.
