  1. Please lock or remove this topic... Ive had a gut-full of this bullshit...
  2. Hope Benayoun can get on the score sheet. It's been so long since Chelsea had a really good impact sub...
  3. There are always loopholes for this sort of stuff, sponsorship deals, 3rd party endorsements etc.... trust me! We have a Salary Cap in place in the National Rugby League, yet its still always the same teams making it to the finals.. The Melbourne Storm got busted rorting the cap and got a massive fine and stripped of 2 premierships...
  4. I think Man City will pose a massive threat in the title race.. Anybody who think's otherwise is in denial...
  5. This will not happen.. Unless he wants to leave. He Doesn't want to leave... End of story
  6. Wouldn't it be funny if it turned out to be ferriera or zhirkov.
  7. Happy that Ramires will get a home game debut.. If Chelsea don't get too complacent, i can see this one getting ugly, for Stoke....
  8. I would have to say Olympic Marseille.. When i visited the south of France i simply fell in love with the atmosphere and passion of the supporters.. The Velodrome is a great place to watch football.. And the women are gorgeous... Even though we don't get many live games over here, i still keep a very watchful eye on the going's on of the League 1.. I also support my Local Rugby League team, South Sydney Rabbitohs...
  9. I don't understand, he is only 21. Surely he can have an operation or something? This is bullshit! I had really high hopes for Sam..
  10. Abramovich is currently the fourth richest person in Russia and the 50th richest person in the world, according to the 2010 Forbes list with an estimated fortune of $11.2 billion. Yeah thats $11.2 Billion that the banks and Government know about... ;)
  11. Chelsea set to make final £25m Neymar offer Chelsea plan to step up their pursuit of highly-rated Brazilian striker Neymar by tabling a £25 million take-it or-leave-it offer with Santos in the next 24 hours. Representatives of Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich are currently in Brazil attempting to resolve an escalating row over the 18-year-old who recently made his debut for the Selecao. Chelsea had a £17 million bid for Neymar rejected last month and are set to follow it up with a £25 million final offer, but that still might not be good enough as Santos are holding out for the £29.6 million buyout clause in his contract. The Brazilian giants won't budge from their stance despite Neymar - who has publicly expressed doubts about leaving - privately informing his club that he wishes to join Chelsea. According to Soccernet sources close to the deal, the economic rights of the player are owned by investors, who believe that they need to persuade Neymar to sign a new contract because his value has already soared to beyond his buyout price. An insider told Soccernet: "There is a big fight still on to convince Santos to part with the player. There is strong pressure on the boy to stay. "In the next few days we shall know one way or the other whether a deal with Chelsea can be achieved." Chelsea have been caught up in an amazing tug-of-war for Neymar, with Santos threatening to report them to FIFA for tapping up the striker. But the source said: "The President of Santos had dinner with agent Pini Zahavi and the people from Chelsea. How can that be tapping up? "The boy was forced to go onto Brazilian TV to say he wants to stay with Santos, when the truth is that he wants to go to Chelsea." Soccernet
  12. Well i wouldnt be suprised if they didn't even make CL... Fabregas wants to leave, the defenders score more goals then the attackers, The manager is a wanker who wants to turn over a profit instead of winning any silverware.. If Arsenal couldn't beat a 10 man Liverpool than they have clearly got some work to do..
  13. Being on the other side of the pond, i would gladly pay £100 to even get a glimse of our boys.. You guys just dont know how good you've got it...
  14. At the end of the day i would be happy if he joins but i won't care if he doesn't.. We have a plethora of other talent around Europe who would jump at the chance to come here! Our team plays a very distinct style of football which depends a lot on strength and power.. Part of me thinks he would suit Arsenal a lot more than us... To be honest i would prefer a much taller attacker, somebody who can actually make use of all the corners we get...
  15. Drogba is Drogba. Kalou is Kalou.. Let's not forget that... They both have a very differant style of play. Stop comparing them..
  16. A bit of a contradiction there wouldn't you say??
  17. I agree, Close this thread for now.. Carlo also praised Mario Balotelli but i don't see him coming here either....
  18. I think they will both play. Or be on the bench just in case...
  19. I don't know about that one.. Sure Kalou's finishing leaves little to be desired, but i think his pace is the key. With more experience i think Kalou can be dangerous. Anelka tends to slow the ball down on a fast break. If we could get some real speedsters in there, i think we could be terrifying. Arsenal have shown the amount of points that can be scored on a fast break, and there players ain't half as talented as ours...
  20. who's arguing? People come here to discuss and debate the going on's of football... Isn't that what a forum is for??
  21. Agreed, I have no doubt Carlo will stick with his strongest and most consistent 11 up until we get some carling cup and FA Cup matches. We might see some younger players get a run in a home game if we are in a comfortable position.. Although i believe Sturridge needs to play ahead of Anelka...
  22. If he takes advice from or even looks up to Robinho in the slightest way then i don't want him...The amount of headache he has caused all his previous employers is enough to turn me away from anybody even remotely like him...
  23. So why has everybody that has posted a team line up forgot about Mikel? If you guys honestly think Carlo will start a new player on his first appearance are going to be in for a suprise.. I expect to see him get a run but no more than 30 mins...
