Match fixing and league corruption IS a part of the english leagues and has been for a very very very long time. Its not by some Machiavellian sinister way that it starts either, where it comes from it quite innocent, you have to remember that when teams like liverpool, utd, arsenal become bigger and bigger and dominate their respected era's in english football, they gain fans and respect from fans of football, now where might these fans be drawn because of their love of football? Into it as player? possible. Into it as a long term fan? very likely, but where else? the very gears and cogs of football itself, the administration end. This, look how good we played today against UTD when we used some wide play and crossing as well as our short passing, it was fantastic i finally actually believed the team could work so well it could beat anyone. I was more then impressed that when we needed to we changed and played wide and crossed, something we had never done before this season even when that going through the middle shite didnt work. Plus once we add width and crosses we'll get more space in the middle and we can chop and change and everything in general will just work better.
