When you say someone like Cruz, it tells me that you only know what the liberal media and leftists have said.   Cruz is a Constitutional Conservative.  That means that at the Federal level, the Government only has the power specifically provided it by the Constitution.  It means that his positions and what he would do as president are based on rule of law not what he wants.  For example he is staunchly against gay marriage personally, but when he's asked if he would ban it if he could if becomes president he tells people that same sex marriage is a States right issue not a Federal issue. Obama and Leftists on the other hand have no problem using the Federal government as a hammer to force what they want on people that don't want it and have voted against on one hand, and ignore laws against illegal immigration and illegal drugs on the other (I personally don't care if drugs are legalized but laws need to be overturned not ignored.)  
 
I strongly believe in Constitutionality being the only determining factor in whether laws are created at the Federal level and that States have the right to make laws that fit the people that live in them in all matters that that responsibility is not delegated to the Feds.  Ted Cruze is the only politician running for President that has walked the walk in this regard so I support him.

Crap. I had a long detailed post and when I opened a a new tab on my phone to verify I had remembered things correctly and came back to post it was gone. So the short truncated version is, there's no video of the shooting but you say it's definitely a racial killing. It's not. It's an American Police thing. James Boyd and Kelley Thomas were killed by police on video for no reason and the police were ruled justified. It doesn't matter the race they'll kill you as soon as you give them an excuse.

Blacks make up 13% of the population. If they decide to race war like you're advocating them to do there'll only be one possible outcome. Historical injustices are that, history. Why is it that a Pakistani or Iraqi or a Nigerian, or Somali, or Ethiopian or Indian can come here and be successful if we were such a racist country? The "keeping it real" "thug culture" that permeates such a large percentage of the urban communities is what's holding them back. In them when a black child tries to do well he's bullied and told he's "acting white". There's more but it'll be for another day.

Why is that surprising? Obviously no one reacted to the ISIS flag because it was VERY obvious that he was not serious and it was some sort of prank. As for the reaction to the Israeli flag, it is to be expected as well since support for Israel in the US is at an all time low and the awareness of the Palestinian struggle at an all time high.
Still, though, hold up a Palestinian flag and you'll most likely get a similar reaction.

To this day when an American soldier is injured or killed in combat, the Purple Heart he/she is awarded comes from stock made for the invasion of Japan. So after conflicts in Korea, Vietnam, Panama, Somalia, Iraq and Afghanistan we still haven't had the numbers hurt or killed that an invasion of Japan would have incurred. 300,000 against 5,400,000 or 10,800,000 there's no rational argument the correct call was not made. (Some say Japan was looking for a conditional surrender already, to that I say the only surrender acceptable was unconditional.)
You mentioned that Lebanese soldiers fought of terrorists without hurting civilians. That's wonderful (our police are just as likely to kill us to save themselves...), but the difference is that your soldiers were protecting your fellow citizens. I don't think its reasonable to think the Israelis would take the same efforts protect Palestinian lives.

They're saying on the news that we've dropped humanitarian supplies to the poor souls trapped in the mountains and tactical air strikes are authorized against IS.
