I am Abhishek Kalia, an Indian student living in New Delhi studying sciences at not a very popular school. I have been supporting Chelsea Football Club since 11 years now, 5 years of which I have spent in South West London, 2 miles from the Bridge. I was lucky enough to see Chelsea lift the title in 2004 and I wish that happens again and again. Now that I am in India, one thing that I have noticed is that being a Chelsea supporter here feels like being a social outcast with obnoxious United supporters all over the horizon. One things for sure, most of these United fans watch football DO NOT watch football, they watch united lift the trophy once a while when they feel like and THAT’S IT! In India a football club is measured by the magnitude of it's support, not by the kind football the club plays. You wouldn’t find many Chelsea supporters here but the ones who do support Chelsea seem to be descent football fans. But nothing in India smells like wet turf at the Bridge, sounds like “Ten Men Went To Mow” or feels like Chelsea Football Club.
