  1. Eden Hazard FC. It was fun while it lasted.
  2. This man is going to drive away Hazard and Courtois as his final parting gift to Chelsea. Roman cannot let that happen.
  3. CFC better stop spreading their legs for Luis Enrique & Luis Van Gaal and dump the truck for this man before Bayern change their minds.
  4. Not sure my heart could take this. But Pulisic & Bailey at the Bridge next season.... It would be all over. —Morata Pulisic—Hazard—Bailey The number of take-ons and dribbles attempted would be insane.
  5. Badmon Batsman balling out for Borussia Dortmund. Batshuayi must love having 4/5 attackers surrounding him in the final third providing chances upon chances for him in the box. I'm so happy for him, tears in me eyes man.
  6. And lest not forget how Conte finally started playing Christensen in the starting XI. All because of one fateful night in Rome, where Luiz and Conte got into an argument. Wow.
  7. I'd much rather see us go for Milinkovic Savic. Someone that could do a job long term rather than a year or two with a much larger wage. You won't find a bigger SMS fan than myself, I've been on the SMS hype train since last season. But we have to be realistic here, we already have Barkley. And while you and I know SMS > Barkley everyday of the week, I think the powers that run our football club will see Fabregas & Barkley as the primary creative CMs in our squad that will occupy one of those front '3' positions or most advanced CM role in a 352. Unless of-course, the club decide to move on from Fabregas, which then SMS would be a fantastic replacement for. In my opinion, the absolute first order of business for Chelsea should be fixing our double-pivot problems in midfield. Drinkwater and Bakayoko have been spectacular failures for completely different reasons this season. The former has never been healthy, and the latter is just a trash CM player. If CFC want to compete next season, we have to upgrade our CM options. Vidal would replace Bakayoko, and then a DLP really needs to come to replace Drinkwater.
  8. Reports saying that Bayern Munich are trying to force him out as they want Goretzka and Tolisso to takeover the midfield next season. Chelsea simply have to be all over this guy in the summer. Can definitely give us 2 top seasons minimum imo. Can't be having Bakayoko as an everyday starting XI CM for my club, that can't run.
  9. With regards to the bolded: I could say the same thing about Simeone or any other potential manager. So where do we go from here? Pochettino's criticisms/down-playing of the League Cup and FA Cup has always struck me as bizarre. But if he was ever appointed here, he'd understand that Chelsea want to win every trophy under-the sun and would thus adjust his mentality so I wouldn't be too concerned about that. Also, your failing to place Pochettino's success in proper context, like @Tomo alluded above, Pochettino is working on the absolute smallest of all budgets at Tottenham due to their owner, and he still just nearly had them winning the league. Yes he lost both times, but how can you not respect the process of how he has turned Spurs into a very formidable footballing outfit? Plus, If we're looking for a manager who understands working under a tight budget, I see no better candidate than Pochettino (along with the other positives I think he would bring.) What I'm looking for, is a manager that has shown he has the capabilities of building a footballing brand and developing an identity. Especially one that is pressing + attacking based. And of the coaches I mentioned, atleast all of them are capable of that in Tuchel, Leonardo Jardim, Pochettino and Allegri (although the latter not so much imo.) Furthermore, your not convinced that Allegri is an excellent coach?! How can't you rate a man that has gotten his team to 2 Champions League Finals in 3 years. Come on fam. Yes, Allegri is another pragmatic coach, much like Conte, and will cede possession in big matches if he thinks thats the best way to win, but he isn't as tactically rigid formation wise as Antonio Conte. Allegri would be the safest bet, if Chelsea want to continue the same short-term mindset that we are incapable of shaking. Under Allegri, I have no doubt we'll lift a trophy. But please if you don't rate Allegri as a tactical coach, please go watch Juventus vs Barcelona 2017 UCL Semi-Final 1st Leg, that was one of the finest tactical masterclasses you'll ever see.
  10. Ahh It's about time this thread got un-locked. Having a quick think about what which manager I'd trust to come in with fresh new ideas and could potentially match-up with the likes of Guardiola, Mourinho and Pochettino. Dream Scenario: Chelsea mortgage the entire Farm and bring in Mauricio Pochettino. Realistic Scenario: Tuchel, Allegri, or Leonardo Jardim. That should be the shortlist. Nobody else. Simeone, Luis Enrique, Ancelotti or Roman's friend Slutsky should be nowhere near the Board's mind.
  11. COME CHAT TO ME ALL YOU BAKAYOKO DEFENDERS. DEFENS THIS PERFORMANCE.
  12. This Bakayoko performance.....I can’t yo. I honestly can’t.
  13. Conte must be a masochist. There’s no other explanation.
  14. Reports in Italy today all saying we’ve inquired about bringing in Sarri.
  15. Chelsea need to be ruthless as fuck and send him back to Monaco. Not sure I can stand another season, let alone 4 more months, of him, Cahill, Alonso and WIllian as regular Starting XI players in my club.
  16. I just don't get understand how anybody can really want Antonio Conte to stay beyond this season. Beyond just the "football" he has this team playing, we've all read the reports about what happened this summer where Conte ignored Marina/Emenalo for 3-4 weeks and we've seen Conte's incessant complaints about how Chelsea operate in the transfer window. He was just asked about the signing of Emerson Palmieri and his response was "idk much about him." The writing is there for everybody to see: Marina and Conte will never see eye-to-eye or have a good professional relationship. And because Marina won't be leaving Chelsea at anytime soon, why continue such a toxic relationship?
  17. Chelsea surely have the most handsome Strike force in all of Europe, no? Elite-Level Squad Building.
  18. Hazard finally getting a proper LB to play with. Tears in me eyes. Let's hope Palmieri can return to his former glory of last season. Desperately needed the athleticism on our Left-wing.
  19. @OneMoSalah You won’t find any disagreements over the criticisms leveled at Marina. But I just can’t perpetually cry over spilt milk and hope that Marina gets fired, when that will clearly never happen. It is what it is. I’ve accepted that Marina will be a constant bottleneck on the way Chelsea is run, and she will price us out of attaining many footballers. But that doesn’t mean you can absolve Conte of all blame. There is more than enough blame to go all-around. This man is out of ideas (tactically), and has shown to have a very limited imagination when it comes to player recuitment. We can debate which signings were his and which weren’t until the cows come home, but what we need imo, is a manager with a different perspective. There are many signings here that he vouched for, and many that Marina did. And at the end of the day, Conte hasn’t found a way to maximize results with these players. Whether it’s Luis Enrique, Thomas Tuchel, Spalletti idk who else, but Chelsea simply need to move on. And as you may worry that Chelsea isn’t attractive enough to other managers all I’ll say, is that signed Antonio Conte after finishing 10th in the PL. We’ll be fine.
  20. Can’t wait until Chelsea announce the mutual termination of his contract (or fire him). Annouce Luis Enrique. We go again.
  21. Just get Conte the fuck outta here. Can’t accept a Chelsea manager whose Wenger’s bitch.
