Players all bought in the final year of their contract if we waited another season when there quite possibly been more competition for his signature we maybe could have paid something like £14m but paying 4m more for 2 years left on his contract is not bad

we also have to remember that a lot of these south american players that we are after all aspired to be madrid or barcalona because thats all they knew when growing up.. Its easy for us from Europe or NA to say the PL is the place to play but back before chelsea became a world contender there was always madrid.. saying that peoples dreams due change and with that said Cavani to Chelsea is what is what is required
