  1. No doubt we will bid £300m for him next window 😂
  2. Luis Enrique the most overrated big name manager out there. If this isn’t proof as well as PSG’s start in the league, then nothing else ever will be. Hopeless without the best frontline in world football like he had at Barca.
  3. Still think he needs to go for the kill though when he gets the ball in 1 on 1s, was a few times where he got the ball and instead of looking to beat his man came back inside or just slowed/stopped completely. Didn’t look to take full advantage of the situation. Was a few of these in the game v Brighton also. I know he’s not incredibly fast but he should of still took those opportunities. Thats the only complaint I have from last 2/3 matches after initially being unsure on his signing
  4. I’d still keep him, showed he has something to offer when playing off the right or left hand side. Sterling probably our most versatile player in attack though. Don’t think the likes of Mudryk etc could of filled in up top.
  5. Must admit, tonight he was very good. If he keeps playing like tonight, we will start getting more goals. Broja was also impressive
  6. He had no choice though. No Jackson, Broja only just back fit…. not sure what people expect him to do? Run Broja into the ground instead of asking Sterling to do a job for the team?
  7. All of their records are shit here barring a handful of players out of about the 173 signings we’ve made this last 3 windows.
  8. Ridiculous. Didn’t even play and he’s been charged with whatever - this guy is our captain too talk about immaturity at its finest. Well done….
  9. Yeah that would be great - not. Just like with Kovacic who has been excellent at City since going there. Would be another huge mistake. Plus not like there are a huge plethora of LBs at Chilly’s level out there but sure.
  10. Did he not say he only wanted to leave Lyon for PSG move though multiple times 😂 Also it was revealed Lyon wanted Andrey Santos by Fabrizio Romano recently but, again, we never actually made a proper move to buy Barcola after he made it clear he only wanted the PSG move…. so claiming loaning Santos to NFFC cost us his signing is just utter bullshit.
  11. So would 3/4 of the guys we’ve signed this last 2 windows. Its that simple.
  12. Goal of the month gonna be a tough one this month. Absolutely fuck all chance we are scoring tonight.
  13. Should of been a red as well there. So lucky, why would you dive in like that on a booking? I see City are playing another left footed right winger v Newcastle - wouldn’t be surprised if we bid £50m for him if he scores
  14. Mudryk in the box, maybe could shoot earlier, doesn’t then falls over claiming a penalty after Lamptey gets the ball. Palmer has also been shocking. Does he have led in his boots? Fucking slowest man on the park running forward there.
  15. Yes but surely the co-directors have got some sort of expertise and opinions also? Do you think anybody involved in football at that level can rightfully have thought ok we are selling/releasing more or less every experienced or senior player we have bar maybe 3, to replace them with all these inexperienced/development players, this is going to work. If they did they should be packing their belongings and leaving. Boehly got and quite rightfully got stick for the first summer window but the co-directors are definitely accountable for the signings we’ve made since. Yes maybe they were given a directive from the ownership but wasn’t their appointments and isn’t there roles as co-directors of football to offer opinions? To collaborate with the manager, the ownership and also advise them on what we may need to look for? Pretty fucking pointless having them if not?
  16. Yes there are a shortage of too CFs but the scouts and recruitment people have been given a profile and the club have spunked £1bn in 3 windows and we look so much worse. As well as these co director fuckwits having a huge input into not keeping the likes of Kova, Jorginho, Kante etc. Anywhere else and these footballing director guys wouldn’t be in a job next season, wait and see though we will let them continue to ruin our squads development and the club’s overall trajectory again.
  17. Lets be honest, if we don’t get results and pressure mounts on the correct people - the owners & footballing directors - they will pull the plug on Poch to save their own skin. They did the same with Potter, sacking him months and months too late after initially making the mistake of hiring him. Then hired Lampard as a PR stunt to try and save face because the fanbase was very restless. Irrespectively of if Poch sees the season out or the long run, these owners and footballing people need to be held accountable for their poor poor judgement which could set this club back years.
  18. Turning us into Everton under Moshiri when he first started splashing big cash. They spent what £600-700m in however many years and were utter dross. We’ve spent £1bn in 3 windows and are utter dross. Parallels are similar.
  19. Incredible isn’t it. Wonder what the £ per point in 2023 is 😂
  20. Aye I always find Arsenal as an extremely poor example for this. Or for why we should give managers such as Lampard or Potter time. They are always the go to example. They are a shite example for what we are going through just now because firstly, they weren’t a team that been in 6 major cup finals in nearly 3 seasons (or a team that had won 20 or 21 trophies in the last 20 years) before they went the way they did and secondly, they didn’t spend £1 billion on players in 3 transfer windows. Nobody has spent that much £ so quickly and turned out as awful. Ever. Bar us - so we are first for that.
  21. Well as we seen last season, it won’t help anything. After their stunts being in the dressing room after the Brighton & Real Madrid games. Just undermines the manager and the players won’t be interested in what they have to say in all realism as they aren’t footballing people. And who’s fault is it that there isn’t any players of this calibre in the starting 11? Or very few of them in the squad? 90% of the blame is with these fucking dimwit owners and their footballing directors (who were hand picked) who seem to fit the clubs vision of turning us into an expensive Southampton or RB Salzburg. Their plan was and has led to us dramatically reducing the squad to a u23 team with huge lack of experience and lack of proven quality with the future in mind. Can say how can we not score v Villa or team x, y or z all you want but fundamentally the issues have stemmed from the vision and strategy from the owners and footballing people. The thing is mentioning guys like Frank, Didier & Eden - they were all quality players, who could and did do it at the highest level. Reece, Chilly, Sterling, Silva and Nkunku are the only guys in our squad who have a track record of playing well at a high level for season after season IMO. The rest aren’t anywhere close - but thats down to the clubs vision originating from these fuckwits above Poch. Lets invest in 200 young players who might come good or might not in 2027 despite the fact we’ve not got a top number 1, a top number 9, inconsistent young attackers from divisions in Ukraine/Holland and have lost multiple experienced, proven players in midfield in the space of a year. How nobody seen this coming is beyond me. This ownership can sack as many managers as they want - won’t matter. For me the blame is with them and their footballing department which starts with Laurence Stewart & Paul Winstanley. Their plan/vision and mainly their recruitment. Not Tuchels, not Potters, not Lampards and not Poch’s.
  22. When? Roman would sometimes fly into the training ground - that was well noted - and usually meant the manager is getting sacked. I can’t remember hearing much about Roman being in the dressing room barring times after we won trophies or that if I am honest. These clowns have been in the dressing room that frequently since taking over its a fucking joke. Tried it with Tuchel, did it with Potter, with Lampard and now Poch. They need to stay in their fucking lane.
  23. Apparently the owners were in the dressing room again after yesterday. When will these fucking clowns learn?
  24. Should of had an assist but still get the feeling too little too late from him. A lot of things he does are very poor.
  25. 100% should of saved. He made some big saves and has done so far but that should be his bread and butter.
