  1. Recognise their error? Should’ve known from the start. Clearly - and this has been for a long time now - there is no actual plan in place for on the pitch and it’s more of a business model… Whats been constant/consistent in our transfer business? Young players, lower incentive based wages, long term deals. Selling academy players for PSR. Selling players on higher wages (some that were only signed 12/24 months ago). I mean otherwise, can you tell me how it is anything else, when managers like Tuchel, Poch, Potter & Maresca all have literally next to nothing in common in terms of playing styles? And you don’t build a playing squad without tailoring it to the manager and his philosophy in all honesty. You can put blocks in place but ultimately, can’t do it all.
  2. There is been hated on for being successful like we were under Roman but then being hated for looking like you have complete retards running the club from top to bottom. It is definitely the second one, not the first. To even think these mob running the club will make us even remotely successful is absolutely crazy.
  3. Well can’t wait for next summer when people are complaining about his inconsistent performances and number of goals or assists. Another scatterguns signing which doesn’t make sense on any level but clearly there is no plan. So lets have at it and see what happens….
  4. Getting rid of Disasi 12 months after buying him is proof enough that the football directors are fucking clueless. Tried his best, had some half decent moments but probably never good enough in the first place. The fact its taken them a year to figure this out, when the plan was always to work towards a certain style of football, is even more proof of how hugely hugely incompetent they are. If it was even in doubt.
  5. Just read the interview, seems so. Fair play. I think Chilwell decision is still a bit iffy though, yes he may not be an inverting fullback but we seen v City at times Malo & Marc going on the outside, seems a bit strange unless Veiga is going to be at LB? Plus Trevor - considering what we have got in ahead of him, has to be a PSR decision because if not why would we be selling him given the fact we have Badiashile & Disasi who are comfortably worse?
  6. Debatable if it is his decision. Feel the club want to move him and his high wages on. Remains to be seen I suppose.
  7. A good few of times v City when he’s pressing it was either too soon or too late. Or he’s dragging himself out of the teams shape to go press, which I get the enthusiasm but have to be smart, go at the right time etc. But 100% he’s not a 10 and sooner Maresca learns that the better. His attitude and body language has concerned me for a while, particularly last season. No doubt talented but £106m you expect a lot more and should really play a lot more consistently. He has probably had smoke blown up his arse in the whole charm offensive to get him here, has the 8 year deal, the number 8 shirt, likely been told how the club see him as a key cog for the present and future but he needs to seriously perform. And Maresca has to be bold enough to leave him out if he doesn’t. Throwing his arms about shit is pretty petty from a 23 year old who hasn’t achieved anything for the club as of yet. Yes demand more from others and yourself but do it in the right way. Hate seeing this in football. Irritates the fucking life out of me.
  8. If its a case of offloading high earners to sign 1 CF then financially we are more fucked than we know. We have drastically lowered the average wage across the board since Clearklake took over too so it cannot be that. There must be more to it. Maybe the club want him out. But I’d be getting rid of Mudryk 100% before Sterling, high wages or low wages, least Sterling actually may show up and bag a goal or two every now and then although his return has been a lot poorer than expected. Am not expecting Joao Felix to be any more consistent either as a player. And not looking forward to his lazy off the ball work if he plays left wing - seemed to have delusions of grandeur at Atletico believing he didn’t need to do the off the ball stuff as much because he was “talented”…. Hopefully that shit doesn’t fly here. If it does, Cucurella going to need to have a blinder every week. And back on Mudryk, he is basically a Sunday league footballer…. Decision making and footballing intelligence is shocking. Shakhtar and Arsenal laughing at us still no doubt. I doubt he’d get a game at any other top 8 side. Yet he is on a 25 year deal so we are stuck with him.
  9. Knew these cunts were smoking crack
  10. We more than likely wont be signing a CB. Unless we sell one. Tosin was brought to replace Silva. We are incredibly lightweight there but these guys buying the players are clueless. Wait and see we won’t sign a striker or a centre back of any real quality if we do. Be another two players who may be good enough to play for us in 2036
  11. I think the statement was wrong. Particularly with the timing yes. Was it his idea or his teams idea to release it then though? Who knows? Both should know better though. I can see why he would be frustrated. He was told he was a part of Maresca’s plans when pre-season started and maybe a week ago, if the rumors are true, the club offered him to Juventus in a swap deal for Chiesa… that and leaving him out, maybe put some wheels in motion in his mind. Its pretty obvious the club are looking to shift multiple players on. I know I keep going on about the new owners and the 2 clowns running the show but this sort of thing wouldn’t have happened under the previous regime. Just like the Gallagher and Trevor situations and them being expelled from the first team and the facilities. There is a real sense of uncertainty and a bit of toxicity around how players are being treated at the club and it definitely has came from the top. These owners and footballing director guys are making Maresca’s job a nightmare from day 1 with this shit. Its not like he has publicly said about Raheem its best if he leaves like he did with Chilwell. He is answering more questions on things he cannot control as opposed to the most important thing: coaching.
  12. Sanchez and Jackson are going to cost us 20-25 points between them this season if they start every week. I’ll say it now.
  13. How the fuck did he miss? Full foot contact? Jackson is going to cost us pointe this season - 100%
  14. Perhaps but at same time he lacks that positional sense to play as a 6 though. He is not a 10 though absolutely not. If Lavia is going to stay fit and do as he’s done all pre-season and today, he won’t be missing out. Also his athleticism is an issue, the amount of times he lost runners due to this under Potter, Lampard and Poch was unreal.
  15. Fair to say Fernandez, Caicedo and Lavia hasn’t worked. No balance - just running through us. Not really got anything offensively either. And talking of Fernandez, there he goes again with one of the worst touches you’ll ever see from any midfielder never mind a £100+M midfielder. Fuck sake 🤣
  16. How can you be offside there when your looking across the fucking line? And people are saying he did/will do much better than people give him credit for?
  17. Should be playing cup games/30 min cameos until he learns how to do the basics and how to finish. Weird he can do some of the more difficult stuff, just not the basics.
  18. Fernandez first touch like a rapist. Wow. Jackson absolutely honking against any half decent side too. Solid number 2 thats it. Fucking hell Jackson even if he’s offside shoot earlier fucking donkey 😂
  19. Nkunku playing wide is odd. Like he was hands down our best player in pre-season. Enzo looks lost as well as a 10, which we already seen under Pochettino. Talk about reinventing the wheel eh?
  20. So many stupid fouls. Caicedo, Lavia, Jackson…
  21. Not sure exactly what his basis is or who the bloke is at all but the whole selling academy players for pure profit on the books to ensure we comply with PSR & FFP, because we might be close to the line, does seem very plausible, no? I mean lets not beat around the bush, we have spent like £1.4 billion in 3 windows. I don’t think it would be normal to spend that sort of money and at least not be close to failing either PSR or FFP, or is it just me? Obviously not 100% convinced its right that we will be docked points or whatever but Clearlake have shown time and time again they are notoriously retarded in the short space of time they’ve owned the club.
  22. In all fairness should be Mudryk out the door ahead of Raheem. Nothing there that makes him worth keeping at all. Sterling not done it here consistently or much but defos more capable of doing something than that daft useless cunt Mudryk. Signing Felix for LW seems a bit strange given his lack of real pace and inconsistency. But if its happening its happening, can’t do much now bar sit back and hope he bucks up his ideas considerably.
  23. Ffs you’re joking. Liverpools 3/4th choice CB?
