I think this is the life of Chelsea club and its fans !!! I am kind of getting used to this now ... and feel that the journalists are right in their own way when they come up with ridiculous articles early on in the season suggesting that we will sack the manager ...

how much money did we lose ? 25 mil ? year after year, season after season I have been hoping that this "x" manger is the man to stay for years to come and every year I get disappointed ... So much for all the articles and press conferences where AVB said Roman and the board are behind him !

again just as I posted that I would like t ogive AVB another season, the board decides to cut short his season ... I truly believe there will be a time when no one would be up for this job if we are this impatient ... I have a bad feeling about this now .... kinda feel the board will give Rafa Benitez the rest of this season to see if he can fire up the misfiring Torres (yes I know its not Torres FC but like I said ... I have a bad feeling about this ! ) and Rafa has been signaling that he is already to take charge of CFC .... I really don't know why we had to fire CA ... any ways if he had performed bad he would have also been sacked like this now ... atleast could have saved but load of money

always been behind the managers ... yes at times frustration takes its toll but I always felt that a manager easily requires couple of seasons before you can tell whether he would succeed or not... I wanted to give CA this season but our board had other ideas ... I would give AVB the next 2 years as long as I see some progress , while we are among the top 4

I am kind of tired seeing such threads every season with a different name I really wanted CA to stay for atleast another season before we decided to sack him but that didn't happen ... now If CA was sacked by the board for a poor performance last season I don't see any reason why the board will keep AVB ....

I kind of admired AVB when he admitted that we played badly at the beginning when we lost games but now its becoming a post match routine now and is getting irritating... not learning from the defeats ... he is doing something grossly wrong that he has to look into and he simply doesn't seem to do that ... talk about our board sacking CA for poor performance *face palm*

just enjoy this moment... a win in 5 matches ... no one is thinking that this kind of performance will win us the CL... this win just eases some pressure off AVB and gives some kind of lifeline for AVB

some of David Luiz's passes were really good ! Drogba, Lampard together on the score sheet made my day The whole thing of CFC being Torres centric *face-palm* it should be Luiz centric, you simply can't stop admiring him....and I believe couple of seasons ago DD was that man we looked towards when we needed some inspiration ... now its Luiz

Lukaku will remain raw power until AVB decides to do the wise thing of playing him for the rest of this season, try to mold him into a better striker. Either ways we are out of the title contention, at least he could give youngsters a chance and try to see if they fit into his style of play !

so not even a single English club would to make it to the next stage ... all napoli has to do is defend in the return leg ... I don't see it difficult for them given we don't have strikers whom we can count on to score...

Nice to see Kalou getting some votes for first team !! 4-4-2 --> Torres and Drogba , the manager should give a serious thought ... not just a trial run and then only will it work when I say 4-4-2 its the manager's duty to ensure that the play and build up is such that one of the 2 upfront would score a goal, not just sit back and wait for some one to swing their wand ! sacking CA was an immature move from the club... and if they are thinking of sacking AVB then GOD help Chelsea

it would certainly be good to have a separate post match thread ! probably one thread for pre-match + live chat. the one good thing about having seperate live match thread IMO is it can be deleted once the match gets over... personally don't see why "goal scored by sturridge" posted by 10 users would be important once the match gets over.

pls enlighten me on that secret plan ... the way we have been playing even a second division team would come and beat us ... and you are talking about European glory. Oddly enough this season has been a total contradiction to AVB's first interview with CFC TV.
