Glad to see that we have some really talented players in our academy who can actually step up to the starting 11 Sarri come on show us what you can do with the young talent... would take another year without a silverware if we are going to develop our youth academy players and make them starting 11 material, obviously given then they show their performance and we play good football

I really hope that Sarri has the plans to play Hudson Odoi more regularly... would be gutted if we loan him out or don't give him enough start after what he has shown in pre season so far. Hope Sarri is different in this regard.

Sure if we can't get anyone else! Also I don't what it would take for our managers to start getting the youth players into the main stream of things... I really want someone from academy to get developed and grow into something of a thing! I guess that would never happen unless we stop with our crazy firing strategy! I feel like our youth team has a lot of potential that we don't develop in the right way! Sending them on meaningless loan to clubs that aren't good will do no good to the player. Obviously they are not going to be good. You need to give them time with the big boys to see if they match up/learn from them and grow!!! #meandmyfantasies

I am not sure why we are pursuing a player who I believe is past his prime... especially at that price tag. I would like to see us go for someone who is young, has promise and can turn into something devastating for the opponents.

So is it a done deal to Monaco? Really hard to tell who real good players are these days with Media hype and Youtubers posting best of clips, and fans being totally hung up on certain players, which don't tell the entire story!

True! But then maybe now is the best time, you don't have the likes of CR overshadowing you! If he joins them he would be joining them as a star and would be the new CR for them won't he? Unless ofcourse Neymar /Mbappe suddenly decides to join them in which case he will be receiving the limelight. I am not saying they weren't selfish. We live in a business world where people don't just do favors unless there is something in it for them. All I am saying is they were better off in that ladder. Gerard was another example for Liverpool, he chose to be with them even when the going was tough for Liverpool. I am sure it is not like they couldn't have gotten better offers financially elsewhere they stuck with Chelsea/Liverpool something I think it is getting progressively hard to find in football these days with the kind of money that is floating around. Maybe you are right had there been this kind of money at time maybe they would have considered but it didn't happen and they didn't leave the club for considerable amount of time. And in the end they left because the club left them no choice and the fact they were aging!

Something we are really poor at lately. Either we have to get Hazard or just move on with life without Hazard... like you said making the player look bigger than the club has what has lead us to this situation... It is a different issue when Lamps, Terry, DD, Cech did it because they were true blues(loyalty was a thing with them) Although I was disappointed to see Lamps in City Blue(that sight still haunts me)
