You never know , to be honest. He never was loaned out somewhere seriosly or really had any game time here. I am not saying its not a mistake, but Barcelona also thought that Pique and Fabregas wouldnt be that much of a success. Reus also is a product of Borussia's youth development, but was released , thought not to be good enough. He then joined a third division team and worked hard. Sometimes its just up to the players mentality to prove that he is better than people thought. That is my main reason to prefer him over Guarin.

Now it all comes to down to the fact, is the source reliable? I am hoping for Matic more than Guarin. Not because I don't like Guarin or anything, I just prefer us having versatile options in the future. Ginkel, Matic, Rami and Baker are all pretty nice choices to rotate. Along with Mikel and Lamps.

I don't see why you expect PSG to sell that easy. They have a huge project, funded by lots of money, which would rule out the potential sale of Cavani or any of their potential players which the team is built around. Zlatan, Lavezzi and Menez are the only players who , in my eyes, would leave. Zlatan would relish a new challenge, especially at a place at which he would be a starter(again). He would like the chance of playing next to Hazard, Oscar and Willian mainly, because he knows he can tap in half the chances they can create. Plus the reunion with Mourinho. That is why Mata for Ibracadabra is the only way he would come. Doubt PSG would give us money + Ibra for him. So I hope for that. Other than that I am not expecting PSG to be that goodly stupid for us.

It's easy to have an agreement with a club. Cavani could easily have with Real , us and PSG. Problem is the fee, so while I do believe you could afford him easily, I would be surpriised at a match with 2 Target Man Strikers.
