I grew up 50 miles from the Mexican border, so Futbol is huge among the Hispanic population, which is pretty dominant down there. Tucson is the kind of place that ya kinda have to know at least pidgin spanish to get by. I played for a while, but screwed up my ankles skateboarding.

If so much wasn't on the line I'd say give him a shot and see what he can do in a match, but our D is stacked with proven performers, so why risk the game... Next year for him. I agree he will be good, and we need to develop more young talent, cuz the game isn't all about buying and then hoping the best will perform.
