I can't believe that some people on here have suddenly started to leave Lampard out of the starting XI. Villas Boas and the vast majority of Chelsea fans were not considering him a starter last season either, but look at his performances once Di Matteo took over. There's no doubt that he will be the leader in midfield next season too, along with Mata and Hazard. Oscar won't take his place.
De Bruyne wasn't great, but he wasn't terrible either. Cahill didn't need to pass the test last night, he passed the test against Barcelona and in the Champions League final. Ramires assisted for Piazon's goal, and Mikel, Hazard and Luiz weren't as bad as Kakuta.
I don't think that the club should loan him out, he should be sold, like some have suggested. He was really poor last night, and now that we have plenty of attacking midfielders he's obviously no longer needed.
Don't be so harsh on him. Way too early to judge, he's still only 19. He clearly is not Chelsea material yet, which is why I think that he should be loaned out, but he'll improve. His brace against Seattle proves that he has eye for goal, and knows how to score.
Why are people complaining about the camera angle? The Stamford Bridge camera is no different. Anyway, I think that it was a fair result in the end. PSG were much better in the first half, we were better in the second. I'm personally quite satisfied with the performances of Marin and Essien in particular.
Not going to happen, Lampard has been the first choice penalty taker for so many years, and he's still superb at them. Hazard should be second, then Luiz after him, then Cole, and then Mata.
Torres is definitely back, for real this time. The way how he calmly sent the ball past Buffon last night confirms it. This is the Torres of the Liverpool days. Since April he has been showing great signs of improvement, and now that Drogba is gone he will be Chelsea's main man next season.
