  1. Third choice keepers are always vulnerable to banter as they look so out of place on the rooster but from what i read on a Fulham forum they are shocked he's settling for such a role. That must mean he's actually pretty decent relitevely speaking and he will probably actually get some cup games aswell as Kepa will become a league keeper for a month (when Edou goes to ACON) which means this guy will likely get the cup games in that period. Speaking of Kepa, if we can by some miracle find him a new home to suit all parties ì wouldn't mind looking at two other ex Fulham keepers for the new number 2 role, Sergio Rico or Areola, atleast one will be made available by Paris given Donnaruma's arrival, both if Navas stays.
  2. The funniest thing is, if he was still at his 15/16 level the race for CM4 (if we don't use the market) would be a one horse race.
  3. Maguire went from playing RCB at Hull to LCB for England and as already said Cahill adapted to it relatively comfortably. Fairly certain any of our CB's bar Silva can play that role.
  4. Fucked in what context? Fight for top 4? If that happens that would make TT worse than Lampard (domestically) unless 4th requires mid to late 70's points.
  5. While i agree there's question marks over his suitability to the PL calling him bang average is just wrong on many levels.
  6. They can't be much worse than some of the 'experts' floating about.
  7. Sterling and Broja really made a claim tonight, the latter looks a lot more suited to this system than Tammy.
  8. All this with Bettinelli still to come. Exciting times ahead.
  9. Because he's the closest thing to a sitter/deep playmaker we have on the rooster tonight, as hilarious as that is.
  10. Yep, if physicality was the be all and end all Mou would still be the best manager in the world.
  11. For a back three to work long term it needs a concerted fullback there for balance purposes.
  12. Mendy in goal gives us a lot of leeway aswell.
  13. Conte didn't get "found out" until he started sulking and half arsing the job. We were second going into the second half of the season, all be it miles behind City.
  14. Through all the hysteria I haven't realised City have signed no one yet. Are they fucking Pep over and refusing to kick on aswell?
  15. If he was a free transfer like Turnbull he'd be third choice (at best) already.
  16. Who says their weaker? They'll probably still finish top four again but as we saw with Arsenal for years and what we see with Tottenham, the mentality to win medals is either there or it isn't. I won't be confident if we have a title race with City as I feel their experience in them will see them through, it's highly unlikely both City and Liverpool will be so poor to allow this to happen but I'd be mega confident if we end up in one with United.
  17. We did sign players that summer and if that didn't drill home the message that we shouldn't sign for the sake of signing then nothing will. Thankfully we seemed to have learned/Tuchel is doing it differently to Conte.
  18. We may aswell have signed no one in 2009 (Sturridge barely played and Zhirkov was useless) and we went from 3rd to 1st.
  19. And one of those reasons was because Rashford naturally grew from a 10-13 goal a season forward to a 20 plus goal a season forward. Don't get me wrong this is far from my ideal but I have a lot of faith in this squad (I seem to recall you do to as that was the main reason you wanted Lampard out) and most importantly manager. We're second from his arrival and won the UCL without requiring any real rub of the green.
  20. Okay but on the same token, why are so many people banking on Sancho coming in and smashing it straight away? Speaking strictly for next season I bet Kai scores more.
  21. I love how people are so closed minded to the prospect of our attacking signings improving in their second season but (going by the mass sucking off of United cause of their "great business") also seem convinced Sancho who is signed from the same league is going to smash it straight away.
  22. The comparisions with the Conte window I find the most amusing, that summer we literally did what people want us to do now (spend for spending sake).
