You have to laugh at the 'two heads' Utd fans....... Well yesterday they were creaming their pants, licking their lips from the prawn sandwiches at the thought of Jose taking over from bacon face?! Today its, argh he doesn't suit us, not our style, he will fuck off after 2 years, no stability, too much media attention, leave a trail of destruction - blah fucking blah! You just can't fucking make it up!!! Well I got news for you Scum U fans, let's see if they have the same opinion this time next season when Jose has led us to the title whilst you are struggling for the top 4 - the prawns will be biting them on their chins because their chins have hit the bottom of the sea bed!!! Have it......... :-)

Hazard certainly did not look injured to me? Anyway why does he always take him off, he is a player that can produce at any moment just like Bale but did you see AVB taking him off? Benayoun instead of Lampard again was bizarre & it is these strange decisions that has distanced himself from the fans not just his previous. He had the opportunity to put this to bed, beat Spurs & then play a weakened side against Villa & rest some of the players who to be fair also contributed to losing 2 points as they looked tired to me - its not great preparation now we have to go to Villa with a strong side before a final.

Think some on this thread are fishing - don't take the bait! Can't see any other person but Moyes going to Utd personally, he fits their criteria & prob most boxes bar experience in CL, the fact he hasn't signed a new contract also points to him as there is no buyout clause, were according to Calderon Madrid's former president on talksport today said there is a buyout of 20m euros on jose & because Madrid paid a similar amount to Inter for Jose's services they will want to recoup a majority of that & I cannot see Utd stumping up that sort of cash when they want to invest a large chunk into the transfer market next season. As for Jose its not inconceivable that he could go there but he will lose a lot of respect from many of his die hard fans if indeed he does - including me! You cannot blame him in a way after how his tenure finished with us but he is up there with the likes of JT, Lamps, Drogba et al, JT & Drogba have already shown their class by categorically stating they won't play for another English club, I really hope Jose has the same opinion, I'm still confident he is coming home & he will bring home the bacon with just a few astute signings & instill some self belief in an already talented squad, we can surprise most next season.

Fair comment, there is no doubt that other players have contributed to those defeats & draws & with respect there are others that can see no wrong in Mikel at times, I very much doubt that even Obi is happy with his form since February & I think this is what he was alluding too.
-
Oh the 2 - 2 draw at Old Trafford where Hazard was brilliant after coming on, wasn't just down to Mikel.... Not sure where he is blaming Mikel but focusing more on his recent poor individual form 'from the African Nations Cup'

Didn't know that but thanks for the info - I rest my case! :-)

First of all luiz had no idea at the time of smiling Rafael was going to be sent off, the fact is it was rash from him & he deserved to go. I don't like the little bit of play acting but we have come against some of the same in the past so why should we hang luiz out to dry? Besides we've had some piss poor decisions against us lately its about time we got something in our favour & the correct decision I might add. I love this guy, has 2 great feet, I love his attitude, always puts in a shift, is so versatile you could put him almost every position & he would do his best for us & that's what stands him apart from many others. For me our player of the year, he has put in consistent performances week in - week out & in 2 different positions. Quality written all over him & if reports are true that he is our next Captain then I'm all for that too.

Another game with a win and a clean sheet without 'Marmite Mikel'! Ummm getting a bit of habit this............. Anyway let's see what the future holds for him if Jose returns, I would be stunned if he is first choice but if he is indeed selected, ups his game (which shouldn't be hard!) finally gets some consistency & I'm not talking about a couple of months, I would like to see him perform to a high standard throughout the whole season & take it into the next before I get off his back. Probably all academic anyway as I just can't see Mikel in jose's starting 11, I'm not hoping I'm wrong either but like many decisions for next season - its going to get interesting..........

What hasn't been picked up & gone under the radar about his comments was something some of us have been advocating since Jose left & that was he slated Webb's performance, anyone remember Webb's officiating versus scum U when Bacon face was remonstrating at the fourth official during the whole of the first half were I think we were 3 nil up, what happens? Webb gives Utd 2 penalties, fucking 2 pens at a rivals home ground - unheard of?!!! All thanks to Ferguson, this situation would never happen under Jose - we may get the odd bad decision before Jose fires a few blasts at officialdom & low & behold things are getting back to normal, fortress Bridge & all that again...... As for his comments, he is hardly going to say he is our next manager when he knows we still have goals to conquer this season, I think he does what he does best & used 'stealth mode' to deflect the attention off Madrid's exit whilst using the same situation to bite back at some of his detractors. He certainly threw a bone to the media & they bit into it like Suarez!!! -) I said it weeks ago that as a parent would you want your little girl on her own in a different country to where you & the rest of the family are? - not a chance! I'm 100% convinced he is coming back to England & almost have the same confidence in his return to us, I just think its a matter of crossing the T's & dotting the I's on contract negotiations, think Roman & Jose just have to swallow some pride & agree to disagree on a few issues then viola! Couple more things, yes Madrid went out last night but if they took their chances, then they are through minus an out of sorts/waste of space Ronaldo I might add, Barca just got dicked 7 - 0 on aggregate, will they get the same negative vibes thrown at them for massively under achieving? Also Cundy said on Talksport last night Jose was la liga's longest serving manager.............ummmmm?

Personally think there is an order of priority in who the club decide to appoint as our new manager, the 2 j's - Jose & Jupp, every other name being banded around are quite simply second rate. We didn't know until a couple of weeks ago that Jupp isn't nailed on to retire, infact he has been taking digs at the Bayern hierarchy - what would give him more pleasure than building a team to take on & defeat his current employers that it seems have been premature to discard his services, it must surely give him a massive incentive to carry on elsewhere? Why is his age a problem? Ferguson has just won the title at 71? Why not bring him in & have someone like Frank as a assistant manager to groom & take over when he feels ready to quit? Ultimately Jose should be number 1 but if not Jupp has all the right credentials to take us to the next level. There aren't too many question marks, if any regarding Jose & Jupp but there are over the also rans, that's not to say they wouldn't be successful but I would be 100% confident in the 2 j's where as I don't get the same optimism in the rest. Think & hoping It's a done deal with Jose but if it isn't Jupp would be a fantastic appointment.

About the time added on, I think its the inconsistencies of the officials that are getting me & many vexed, let's take yesterday were I've read on here the ref justified the time by adding extra seconds to every single incident - now how often do you see that during a season, the very same were a game has 6 extra minutes let alone the 7 that was played? The only time I see more than four minutes is when there has been a lengthy stoppage for an injury & not for several short stops during a game. Then there's this 'minimum' of such time but why do refs blow up before the 'minimum' allocated time? Lastly to the do-gooders that are defending Friend for his generous time keeping, were you also bashing Foy when he only gave us a paltry few extra minutes against Swansea in the away leg semi when Oscar got battered & the ball boy incident as well as subs - should of been 10 minimum, or were you defending that too? Can't disagree with what's been said about Benitez & his mind numbing tactics or that our players switched off for the last goal (amongst other times) but you expect officials to do their job, Sturridge should of gone, Shelvey lucky too & as for Caragher, he may as well of reffed the poxy game himself as he was in Friends ear all fucking game but also somehow stayed on the pitch, that's not too mention the werewolf incident.
-
Oh I've just heard Clattenburg will be officiating our game on Sunday, what's the betting we get the rub of the green for a change? Or maybe not!!!
-
I suppose its each to their own regarding a Jose return but you hit the nail on the head on how he would be backing the players, think our managers have become far too soft after games & let referees off the hook, bacon face has the edge on every team because refs are shit scared of him but Jose always has his number when it comes to psychology - at least it will be a level playing field for us again if he does return, you can bet your bottom dollar the first time there is a controversial moment & we drop points he will be on these officials like a rash in the interview afterwards. Ferguson gets in the refs mind before a game too, we've had it for several seasons now with him barking about them not getting this or that against us (purpose selective memory!) Jose will fire it back so the official won't get swayed by fergie's rubbish. Obviously to mount a title challenge we have to improve in a few areas but Jose chipping away at officials will help no end & perhaps we may finally get some consistency in our game.
-
Southampton fans came up with the best chant of the season, "Suarez your teeth were offside" -)
-
Argh well, let's play 7 minutes & let Liverpool score from a player that should not be on the pitch (Sturridge could of gone too) 7 fucking minutes???????????? Just keep ignoring this, the lot of you? Most of you don't take any notice or fucking take anything in anyway............ Mark my words, you should all hope Jose returns next season because if he doesn't then we will continue to get these appalling decisions, yeah call me a bitter twat - I couldn't give a fuck but until we get a manager in to fire a rocket up these useless officials arse then we will never regain the title.
-
Didn't stop Foy sending off Hazard when the ball wasn't in play either? The news now is that Foy 'partly' saw the challenge so Aguero gets let off the hook? Have ever heard of such nonsense?! If you add this to the fact that Webb has been demoted & Foy is still officiating in the Prem next week then it is hard not to believe the conspiracy theories about Foy who without question hates us & the bent FA - back handers & some bum sex going on! -)
-
Depends what you mean by 'future plans' so to speak, I guarantee that if there is a Jose return & Mikel performs with the inconsistency that has been rife in his game then he will be dropped until Jose feels he can trust him to put in a shift, if not he will be quickly out on his arse. I will be surprised if Mikel is regular starter under Jose - squad player more than likely.
-
Couldn't agree more!I've been barking about this situation since Jose left & why one of the many reasons why I want him back. Firstly I don't think we would of played that bad for 60 odd minutes & I would have no doubt Zabeleta would of been on at least a yellow in the first half (Foy let him get away with 2 in the first half yet Rami was booked for an innocuous challenge?) also Foy would of given us one of those poor decisions, lastly you know that Jose would of given Foy a right going over in the media & would of been beating Foy's door down after the game. It's part of why Utd keep winning as Fergie has mastered the art. Think it proves it when their was a media witch-hunt for Hazard who ironically was sent off by Foy (surprise, surprise!) to be given a lengthy ban for kicking a ball, yet Aggrorearo gets away scot free - no bias there then?! I mean ffs how can you state you've seen part of it? I've never heard such bullshit, he didn't see part of Torres shirt being pulled off his back & I suppose he only saw part of Hazards boot kicking the ball from the ball boy but that was enough - you just can't make this up. No doubt about it things are going against us since 'Clattengate', only getting someone like Jose back that has the bollocks to take on Fergie & the FA & to give the refs a few 'stealths' will we redress the balance.

Double post!

Contrary to what some have said we have every right to vent some anger towards the Foy, Kompany would of gone for his foul on Torres & its a pen so its possibly 2-2 then Aguero should of gone - game changing decisions that he got completely wrong & I agree he should retire. That said City deserved to win, some of our players failed to turn up, Mata & Hazard were woeful as was Oscar until he was moved into a central position, we definitely missed JT's leadership at the back, like most I really cannot fathom Benitez's thinking at times? We need a goal so he leaves Lampard on the bench for the whole game? We were clearly being overrun in midfield so why did he not change personnel & formation at half time? As soon as Torres came on & Oscar played in the middle we were a different side. Too little too late.
-
Somebody stop meeeeeeeeee...........muzzieeeeeeeeee!!! Pleasing to see that there are some on here that can share a little light banter - far too serious on here at times.
-
Credit when its due - a very neat finish. Definitely looks more confident in his performances of late which could be to our benefit at this stage of the season, must be the mask - smooookkiiiiiinnnnnnnnggggggggggggggg! :-)
-
Come on peeps, kojo & top2b are only pointing out the obvious - its no different when Mikel has a decent game & the masses can't get on here quick enough. Mikel deserves some flak for shooting from the rooftops about this competition then backing it up with a shoddy performance, just imagine if he had done that playing under Bacon face - he would be sold in the summer.........
-
Yes mate (where have you been :-) ) the top & bottom of it was that I have been defending some members (you were targeted) against false accusations but it has been hard fucking work...........just like everything else is when you post anything slightly resembling a critical Mikel post!
-
Thank fuck for that!!!
